The present invention provides an improved two-piece valve cover comprising an elliptical walled support with a sloped cover configured for connection to said elliptical walled support and having an upper surface and a lower surface, sloped cover presenting at least a partially sloped surface wherein the upper surface is at least partially angled towards the lower surface and a central plenum extending at least partially through said elliptical walled support and at least a portion through said sloped cover.

Engine device

An engine includes: an exhaust manifold 7 close to one of left and right side surfaces of an engine; a turbocharger 60 having an exhaust-side inlet connected to the exhaust manifold 7; and a rocker-arm-chamber-integrated intake manifold 8 being disposed on an upper surface of a cylinder head 5 and integrally including a rocker arm chamber 90 and an intake manifold 6. The intake manifold 8 has a wall 101 dividing the rocker arm chamber 90 close to the one of the left and right side surfaces of the engine 1 and the intake manifold 6 close to the other of the left and right side surfaces to isolate the rocker arm chamber 90 and the intake manifold 6 from each other. The rocker arm chamber 90 has, in its upper portion, a positive crankcase ventilation device 69 protruding therefrom and being configured to return blowby gas to an intake system. The positive crankcase ventilation device 69 has, in its side surface, a blowby-gas discharge port 67 connected with a gas conduit 68 through which blowby gas is delivered to an intake-side inlet of the turbocharger 60.

Engine

An engine (E) includes a crankcase body (19) including a bottom plate (19a) and a tubular portion (19c), a crankcase cover (20) covering a case opening portion (19b) of the crankcase body (19), a crankshaft (2), a cylinder base portion (21a) located inside the crankcase body (19), a cylinder block (21b) located outside the crankcase body (19), and a camshaft (25) located inside the crankcase body (19) and between the bottom plate (19a) and cylinder base portion (21a). The crankcase body (19) has the bottom plate (19a) detachably attached to the tubular portion (19c).

An internal combustion engine 100 comprising a cylinder head 102, a cylinder head cover 104, an intermediate flange 106 arranged between the head 102 and the head cover 104. A first opening extending from the head cover 104, through the intermediate flange, into the head 102, the first opening includes first internal threads lying inside the cylinder head area, a second opening having an integrated first threaded bolt provided at an end of the intermediate flange touching the cylinder head 102. A plurality of fasteners comprising a screw having a head, and a shaft fastening the head cover 104 and intermediate flange to the head such that the head of the screw rests directly on top of the cylinder head cover 104 when the screw is tightened.

CYLINDER HEAD COVER

A cylinder head cover for covering a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine having at least one first sealing surface via which the cylinder head cover can be tightly connected to an associated second sealing surface on the cylinder head, the cylinder head cover may include at least one first reference surface configured for unambiguous position-fixing on an associated second reference surface of the cylinder head. The at least one first reference surface and the at least one first sealing surface may be formed separately from one another.

The inorganic filler content is ≥30 mass % relative to 100 mass % of the composition. The composition has a solidifying point of ≥210° C. The composition has a spiral flow value of ≥60 cm when the inorganic filler content is ≥30 mass % and <40 mass %, ≥40 cm when the content is ≥40 mass % and ≤50 mass %, and ≥20 cm when the content is >50 mass % and ≤70 mass %. The composition has a strain of ≤3.8% in a 1000-hour tensile creep test under 120° C. and 60 MPa. The composition has a formic acid relative viscosity (VR) of 30<VR<40.
