System for delivering medication
Aspects of the present disclosure disclose a system for delivering a medication. In one aspect, the disclosure is directed to a medical dispensing device that includes a label with a series of zones of varying widths, with each of the zones corresponding to a pre-determined volumetric dose of a drug that is correlated to a physical characteristic of a patient. In one specific example, the label is further affixed to the medical dispensing device such that a smallest dose of the drug to be administered corresponds to a first zone that is proximate an opening through which the drug is to be dispensed.
AUTOMATIC DEVICE CONFIGURATION VIA A NETWORK SERVICE
Methods and systems are provided for automatically configuring a first medical device. In accordance with the methods and the systems, a computing system can obtain prescription information for a patient. The prescription information comprises a device prescription. The computing system can transform the prescription information into first configuration data comprising therapy settings for a first medical device referenced by the device prescription. The computing system can cause automatic configuration of the first medical device based on communicating the first configuration data to the first medical device.
WEARABLE FLUID DISPENSING DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS RELATED THERETO
A system is provided for dispensing a fluid. The system has a housing having a fixation means to a user and an orientation element; the cartridge formed so as to be held in a given orientation by the orientation element with respect to the housing; and control means to activate the cartridge to eject a fluid. In one aspect, the system is a emergency rescue fluid(s) transdermal delivery system which includes a removable, single use emergency rescue fluid(s) dispensing cartridge, a wearable device into which the emergency rescue fluid(s) dispensing cartridge uniquely, matingly and removably inserts. The system includes a communication pathway between the wearable device and at least one other cloud network node, and/or at least one communication pathway between the wearable device and at least one GPS network node. In another aspect, the system dispenses a perfume or other fragrance.
Event tracking for advanced therapy medicinal products
There is provided a system for tracking events associated with a treatment by personalised medicine, the system comprising a plurality of nodes hosting a blockchain. The plurality of nodes include a plurality of sequence manager nodes, each associated with a respective sequence manager contract on the blockchain, and a hub node associated with a hub contract on the blockchain. A first sequence manager contract of the sequence manager contracts is arranged to receive first event data indicating a first event associated with the treatment, and store the first event data on the blockchain in association with a first event sequence. The hub contract is arranged to store an association between the first event sequence and one or more further event sequences associated with the treatment, on the blockchain.
Devices and methods for recording information on a subject's body
Embodiments disclosed herein relate to methods, devices, and computer systems thereof for visibly or non-visibly indicating a subject has received a medical treatment. In certain embodiments, a subject receives an information mark in conjunction with a medical treatment. In certain embodiments, the information mark includes unique information relating to the subject. In certain embodiments, the information mark is fluorescent or phosphorescent. In certain embodiments, the information mark includes one or more magnetic particles. In certain embodiments, the information mark includes a combination of magnetic particles, fluorescent particles, phosphorescent particles, and/or multi-spectral ink. In certain embodiments, devices, computer systems, and methods relate to reading an information mark on a subject, and optionally determining if further medical treatment of the subject is warranted. In certain embodiments, receipt of an information mark entitles a subject to a reward.
Authentication and tracking system
A dialysis authentication system comprising at least one dialysis component having at least one authentication component affixed thereon. The dialysis component can be any one of a dialyzer, sorbent cartridge, or recharger. The authentication component can be selected from the group comprising a radio-frequency identification marker, a bar code, a one-wire security component, and a wireless authentication component.
Authentication system utilized in a sorbent-based dialysis system for therapy optimization
A dialysis authentication and management system comprising at least one dialysis component having at least one authentication component affixed thereon. The dialysis component can be any one of a dialyzer, sorbent cartridge, recharger or any other dialysis component. The authentication component can be selected from the group of a radio-frequency identification marker, a bar code, a one-wire security component, and a wireless authentication component. The authentication system can ensure that all components used are in proper usable condition and/or certified. The system can also manage the recharging of rechargeable components, and optionally manage dialysis therapy.
INJECTION DEVICES TRIGGERED BY MECHANICAL KEY
An injection device (100) comprises: a needle insertion mechanism (111); a medicament delivery arrangement (123) configured to cause injection of a medicament into a patient; and a cavity (102) having an opening (103) for receiving a key device (104). The injection device is configured to respond to detecting the presence of the key device in the cavity by triggering operation of the injection device. The specification also provides a method of controlling an injection device (100) including a needle insertion mechanism (111); a medicament delivery arrangement (123) configured to cause injection of a medicament into a patient; and a cavity (102) having an opening (103) for receiving a key device (104), the method comprising: responding to detecting the presence of the key device in the cavity by triggering operation of the injection device.
ILLUMINATED MEDICAL INFUSION
Disclosed are various embodiments for illuminated medical infusion including, for example, a medical infusion system which includes a source of illumination and an illuminating infusion line and wherein the illuminating infusion line includes an integrated fluid transmission channel and light transmission channel.
