An add-on device for a drug delivery device comprises a camera for capturing an image of a scale drum, and a processor for determining the value of a captured image using a first image analysis process, the value corresponding to a set dose amount. If the determined value belongs to a pre-defined group of values, the determined value is confirmed using a second image analysis process in which for a given value from the pre-defined group of values one or more partial image areas and an associated nominal content thereof are pre-defined. If the captured content for each image area corresponds to the nominal content, the determined value is confirmed.

A data collection device comprises an attachment assembly for attaching the data collection device to a dose setting dial of a medicament administration device and a sensor configured to detected an identifier provided on a surface of an internal component of the medicament administration device, the sensor comprising an ultrasound sensor configured to detect a geometric identifier formed on the surface of the internal component of the medicament administration device. The present disclosure relates to an electronic label for a drug delivery device configured for administering a medicament to a patient. The electronic label includes a flexible substrate configured for attachment to a body. The electronic label further includes an electronic display located on the flexible substrate, wherein the electronic display is configured to display a first information content of a first information type, a second information content of a second information type, and a third information content of the first or of the second information type. The electronic label includes a processor connected to the electronic display, which is configured to modify or to control a visual appearance of the electronic display by visualizing at least a portion of the first information content and at least a portion of the third information content separately, simultaneously, sequentially or alternately on the electronic display.

Embodiments of negative pressure wound therapy devices and methods for controlling and operating such devices are disclosed. A negative pressure wound therapy apparatus can include a housing, a negative pressure source, controller, and output device supported by the housing. The negative pressure source can couple via a fluid flow path to a wound dressing and provides negative pressure to the wound dressing. The controller can operate the negative pressure source to provide negative pressure to the wound. The output device can provide identification data to an electronic device, and the identification data can be usable by the electronic device to access a label associated with the negative pressure wound therapy device.

A ventilation system including a ventilator having a cooling fan configured reduce an internal temperature of the ventilator. The ventilator also includes a controller configured to control operation of the ventilator. A detector is configured to generate a detection signal when the ventilator is connected to a cold passover humidification (CPH) device. In response to the detection signal, the ventilator reduces or eliminates operation of the cooling fan in comparison to a default mode of operation. A method of providing increasing a temperature of a flow of air to a CPH device is also included.
