Method and System of A Remote Control Respiratory Therapy
Embodiments provide an oxygen supply device having multiple operational states including a first state and a second state. In the first state, the oxygen supply device is controllable to a local control instruction such that the oxygen supply device can be operated by a user physically located within a proximity of the oxygen supply device. In the second state, the oxygen supply device is only controllable to a remote-control instruction such that the oxygen supply device can be operated by a user remote to the oxygen supply device. For example, the user can be located in an office remote to a location of the oxygen supply device, which, for example, may be placed at a patient’s home. In the second state, the user is enabled to control the oxygen supply device from a device associated with the user in the remote location.
Pre-filled vaporizing liquid container and personal vaporizing devices for using such container
The present disclosure is directed to a pre-filled container configured to store a pre-defined volume of a vaporizable liquid composition. The present disclosure is also directed to personal vaporizing devices for using such containers. In one embodiment, the pre-filled container is configured to provide a vaporizable liquid composition stored therein to an ultrasonic vaporizing component via capillary action for vaporization thereof.
Blood glucose control system switching without interruption of therapy delivery
Systems and methods are disclosed herein for switching an application executing on an ambulatory medical device to a new application without interrupting therapy provided by the ambulatory medical device to a subject. The ambulatory medical device may receive an indication that an update to an application executing on the ambulatory insulin pump is available, establish a communication connection to a host computing system, download and install the application update, while a prior version of the application continues to run. The disclosed systems and methods can confirm successful installation of the application update on the ambulatory medical device and switch control of the ambulatory medical device from the prior version to the new version of the application without interrupting therapy provided to the subject.
Medical voice command integration
System and methods for controlling healthcare devices and systems using voice commands are presented. In some aspects a listening device may receive voice command from a person. The voice command may be translated into human readable or machine readable text via a speech-to-text service. A control component may receive the text and send device-specific instructions to a medical device associated with a patient based on the translated voice command. In response to the instructions, the medical device may take an action on a patient. Some examples of actions taken may include setting an alarm limit on a monitor actively monitoring a patient and adjusting the amount of medication delivered by an infusion pump. Because these devices may be controlled using a voice command, in some cases, no physical or manual interaction is needed with the device. As such, multiple devices may be hands-free controlled from any location.
MASSAGE DEVICE PROVIDING TINNITUS TREATMENT PROGRAM AND CONTROL METHOD THEREFOR
Disclosed are a massage device providing a tinnitus treatment program and a control method therefor. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, disclosed is a method by which a massage device provides a tinnitus treatment program. The method by which the massage device provides the tinnitus treatment program comprises the steps of: obtaining tinnitus information about a user; adjusting the magnitude of at least some of a plurality of frequency components included in a raw sound source and then flattening the raw sound source, so as to generate a first processed sound source; reducing the magnitude of at least some of a plurality of frequency components included in the first processed sound source on the basis of the obtained tinnitus information, so as to generate a tinnitus treatment sound source; and providing a tinnitus treatment program in which the generated tinnitus treatment sound source and tinnitus treatment massage are combined.
Device For Assisting In The Use Of A Device For Dispensing A Product
An assistance device for the use with a product dispensing device includes an engaging unit to the dispensing device, a locking unit for locking the dispensing device and configured to prevent or permit dispensing of the product, and a measurement unit for measuring a quantity of the product dispensed by the dispensing device. The locking unit remains unlocked for a predetermined period of time starting from a predetermined activation of the assistance device and then locks automatically at the end of the predetermined period. The locking unit locks automatically when a quantity of the product dispensed during the predetermined period reaches or exceeds a predetermined threshold.
Device For Assisting With The Use Of A Device For Dispensing A Product
An assistance device for a product dispensing device is provided, in which product dispensing is implemented by displacement or deformation of a moving part of the dispensing device between a rest position and an activation position. The assistance device includes an engaging unit, a locking unit configured to prevent the dispensing of the product, an actuator configured to switch the locking unit from a locked position to an unlocked position, a return unit configured to switch the locking unit from the unlocked position to the locked position, out of the activation position of the product dispensing, a blocking unit for blocking the locking unit in the unlocked position, a first disengagement member for disengaging the blocking unit configured to be triggered upon the activation of the dispensing device, and a second disengagement member for disengaging the blocking unit configured to be triggered independently of the activation of the dispensing device.
Electronic device for providing meditation contents and operating method thereof
An electronic device for providing meditation content corresponding to a stress level of a user, and an operating method thereof are provided. The electronic device includes a communication interface comprising communication circuitry, a memory, and at least one processor operatively coupled to the communication interface and the memory. The memory is configured to store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to control the electronic device to: receive stress information from at least one collecting device using the communication interface, confirm meditation content corresponding to a stress level based on at least part of the received stress information, confirm at least one executing device related to the confirmed meditation content, and control the execution of the confirmed meditation content and the confirmed at least one executing device using the communication interface.

In general, drug administration devices configured to communicate with networks and external devices are provided. In an exemplary embodiment, a drug administration device is configured to adjust an operational parameter of the drug administration device based on a data packet formed from drug administration data ancillary data received from networks and/or external devices. In another example embodiment, a drug administration device is configured to scan for and establish communications with at least one external device. In another example embodiment, a method includes assessing whether to update a control program on a drug administration device from a network or external device. In another example embodiment, a system includes a first drug administration device configured to communicate with a second drug administration device to optimize a drug treatment.
DRUG DELIVERY DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a drug delivery device. The drug delivery device includes a housing having a proximal end and a distal end. Additionally, a needle guard disposed at the proximal end of the housing and movable in an axial direction relative the housing between a first position and a second position. A storage container, disposed within the housing for storing a drug, includes a needle for administering the drug. The drug delivery device also includes an injection activation button disposed on the distal end of the housing and including a fingerprint detector. Additionally, the present disclosure includes a lock configured to switch between a locked configuration inhibiting actuation of the drug delivery device and an unlocked configuration enabling actuation of the delivery device. The lock is in the unlocked configuration when the needle guard is in the second position and the fingerprint detector detects a fingerprint.
