The outlet temperature of the flow of the gas from the ORC unit to a return pipe may be determined. A bypass valve, positioned on a bypass pipeline connecting the supply pipeline to the return pipeline, may be adjusted to a position sufficient to maintain temperature of the flow of gas above a threshold based on the inlet and outlet temperature.

The power system also includes a power pack positioned inside a third housing. The power pack is positioned directly adjacent the evaporator assembly opposite to the aftertreatment assembly. The power pack includes a tank, a condenser, a pump and an expander fluidly connected by a second portion of the working fluid loop. The second portion is fluidly connected to the first portion of the working fluid loop.

This disclosure teaches the means of achieving (2) and (3) as follows: (2) a means is disclosed of BDC cooling of the expanded working fluid in the working chamber, and (3) a means is disclosed of adiabatically compressing the working fluid into the pump chamber before cycling the fluid.
