HEMODIALYSIS SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Disclosed are hemodialysis and similar dialysis systems including fluid flow circuits. Hemodialysis systems may include a blood flow path, and a dialysate flow path including balancing, mixing, and/or a directing circuits. Preparation of dialysate may be decoupled from patient dialysis. Circuits may be defined within one or more cassettes. The fluid circuit and/or the various fluid flow paths may be isolated from electrical components. A gas supply may be provided that, when activated, is able to urge dialysate through the dialyzer and blood back to the patient. Such a system may be useful during a power failure. The hemodialysis system may also include fluid handling devices, such as pumps, valves, mixers, etc., actuated using a control fluid. The control fluid may be delivered to the fluid handling devices using a detachable external pump. The fluid handling devices may have a spheroid shape with a diaphragm dividing it into two compartments.

Devices and processes for delivery of therapeutic fluids
A therapeutic agent delivery system comprises a housing. A therapeutic agent delivery assembly is carried by the housing. The therapeutic agent delivery assembly comprises a chamber having a passageway. A therapeutic agent is carried in the passageway, and a needle is in communication with the passageway. The therapeutic agent delivery assembly may be translatable relative to the housing from a stowed configuration to a deployed configuration. Actuation of a user input may translate the therapeutic agent delivery assembly from the stowed configuration to the deployed configuration. An input restraint may be rotatable relative to the housing from a first rotational configuration to a second rotational configuration. In the first rotational configuration the input restraint may inhibit actuation of the user input, and in the second rotational configuration the input restraint may permit actuation of the user input.
Medical Delivery Device
Disclosed and claimed is a medical delivery device with a separable housing comprising a durable component and a disposable component. The durable component comprises a handle portion of the device that may be connected to a compressed gas source to allow for the input of pressurized gas into the device. The disposable component comprises a cartridge containing a plurality of doses of biological or non-biological material and a supersonic barrel through which the dose is propelled out of the device and into the subject. When all of the doses in the cartridge have been administered, or when the device is to be used with a different subject, the cartridge is removed, and a new cartridge attached to the durable component.
Apparatuses and methods for delivering powdered agents
In one aspect of the present disclosure, an apparatus for delivering a powdered agent into a subject's body may include a powder chamber housing the powdered agent. The apparatus also may include a chassis in fluid connection with the powder chamber. The chassis may include a first passage for receiving a pressurized gas, a second passage for receiving the powdered agent from the powder chamber, and a junction in fluid communication with the first passage and the second passage. At least a first portion of the pressurized gas is introduced into the powdered agent at the junction to fluidize the powdered agent.
