A fueling system for an engine includes a fuel tank, a controller, a fuel nozzle receptacle connected to the fuel tank, the fuel nozzle receptacle including a receptacle sensor configured to send a signal to the contoller indicative of whether a fuel nozzle of a fuel dispenser is received in the fuel nozzle receptacle, and an electric fill slop valve between the fuel tank and the fuel nozzle receptacle, the electric fill stop valve being, configured to be controlled to open and close in response to a signal from the controller. The controller can be configured to receive at least one of (a) a signal whether a fuel nozzle of a fuel dispenser is received in a fuel nozzle receptacle connected to the fuel tank, and (b) a signal whether a fuel level of the fuel tank is full, and to control the electric fill stop valve to close when a signal is sent to the controller that at least one of (a) the fuel nozzle is not received in the fuel nozzle receptacle when the controller is configured to receive the signal whether the fuel nozzle of a fuel dispenser is received in the fuel nozzle receptacle, and (b) the fuel level of the fuel tank is full when the controller is configured to receive the signal whether the fuel level of the fuel tank is full.

DRAINAGE CONNECTOR

The invention relates to a drainage connector (1) having a cup-shaped housing (2) which comprises a housing base (3) and a housing wall (4). A connection geometry (5) is arranged on the outside on the housing wall (4) for inserting into a container opening, wherein an inlet pipe (9) of an inlet side (7) is guided to an outlet side (8) through the housing base (3) and an annular collecting chamber (10) is formed between the inlet pipe (9) and the housing wall (4). In order to discharge denser fluid which can accumulate in the collecting chamber, the housing (2) has a discharge channel (11), which leads from the collecting chamber (10) to the outlet side (8) and can be closed from the outlet side (8). The drainage connector is intended to be producible in a cost-effective manner at low cost and to have a low mass. For this purpose, the inlet pipe (9) on the outlet side (8) merges into an outlet pipe (13) which has a closing element (16) that can be moved between an open position and a closed position, wherein the housing (2) comprising the connection geometry (5), the inlet pipe (9) and the outlet pipe (13) is formed from plastic as a single piece.

FUEL PUMP ASSEMBLY WITH REMOVABLE SUPPORTS

An in-tank fuel pump assembly may have a mounting flange with a plurality of first couplings, a fuel pump, a carrier connected to the fuel pump, a plurality of second couplings on at least one of the carrier and the fuel pump, and a plurality of supports each connected to one or the first and second couplings to locate the pump relative to the mounting flange.

The present invention relates to improvements to fill prevention devices and more particularly to a permanently installed fill prevention device used for potable water tanks. There are other fill prevention devices however because other fill prevention devices related to potable water systems require them to be removed before filling the water tank, these other devices are difficult to use and are often lost. The present invention discloses a circular disk (1) made from plastic such as Nylon, High Density Polypropylene, or other inert durable plastic. The outer area of the disk is threaded (3) to allow this fill prevention device to be threaded into existing potable water deck fill (7) When in place the device will prevent the insertion of a fuel nozzle, hence keeping the water tank and potable water contamination free. From the center of the circular disk is a hollow cylinder (2) which rises vertically and is connected to the inner wall of the circular disk. The diameter of this hollow cylinder is such so that the end of a garden hose (5) can be inserted over it to fill the water tank. Along the bottom edge of the device are holes (4) that allow air and excess water to escape. This device when inserted into an existing deckfill (7) creates both a mechanical barrier along with a visual deterrent due to it's blue color which is consistent with containers used for potable water.

This device when inserted still allows the existing deck cap (6) to be used.

This fill prevention device can also be manufactured into a deckfill (12) as shown in FIG. 7.

The advantage of having this device in place is to prevent the costly error of accidentally adding fuel to a watercrafts potable water system. This is an error that occurs often and results in irreparable damage to the watercrafts potable water tank resulting in thousands of dollars of damage; in most cases causing the need for expensive replacement of the watercrafts water tank system. There is also the creation of a hazardous waste material when mixing fuel within the water system. This will affect the need for proper hazardous waste disposal.
