Method for Fluid Delivery
A fill adapter for filling a reservoir and a related method are disclosed herein. The fill adapter includes a button assembly actuator and a pump chamber plunger actuator hingably attached to the button assembly actuator, wherein the actuation of the button assembly actuator actuates the pump chamber plunger actuator and wherein the pump chamber plunger actuator actuates a pump chamber membrane before the at least one button assembly is actuated.
METHOD FOR QUALITATIVE AND/OR QUANTITATIVE DETECTION OF SUBSTANCES CONTAINED IN A HEMP PLANT AND KIT FOR USE THEREIN
The present invention relates to a kit comprising: a) an ampoule; b) a material comprising a hemp plant or parts thereof; and c) a color indicator capable of reacting by contacting the hemp plant and/or at least a part thereof to change the color of the color indicator, wherein the material and the color indicator are disposed in the ampoule; and a method for qualitatively and/or quantitatively detecting one or more substance(s) contained in the hemp plant using the kit.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR VAPORIZING A FLUID
A fluid vaporization device and related method of vaporization are disclosed. A vaporizable fluid is transported from a fluid reservoir to a vaporization chamber via a wick element which extends into both the fluid reservoir and the vaporization chamber. The fluid in the vaporization chamber is then heated by activating a heating element which is disposed, at least partially, within the vaporization chamber. The heating step transforms the fluid stored in the wick element into a vapor, after which it is transported out of the vaporization device via a conduit.
Apparatus for treating a respiratory disorder with a power source connection
A respiratory device, such as a ventilator, for use in treating respiratory disorders and for preventing respiratory disorders. The respiratory device is configured to be powered from a range of different power sources including an internal battery, an external battery, AC power source or a DC power source. The device may be electrically connectable to a plurality of external batteries in a series and the power from each external battery is used sequentially along the series. A controller of the respiratory device is configured to detect the connection of the different power sources and control use of the different power sources using a power priority scheme. The controller may determine an estimate of the total available battery capacity from all the electrically connected batteries and display the total battery capacity on a user interface display of the device.
DISPENSER FOR SPRAYING POWDER AND POWDER SPRAYER INCLUDING SAME
The present invention provides a 2-way air flow type dispenser for spraying powder and a powder sprayer including the same. The present invention adopts a 2-way air flow manner in which an air flow causing the powder to be sprayed and an air flow causing the powder to be transferred from a container to a spraying nozzle are separately formed, thereby enabling the smooth spraying of the powder.
Power management method and system for a battery powered aerosol-generating device
A method for controlling power supplied to an aerosol-generating element of an aerosol-generating device is provided, the aerosol-generating device including an aerosol-generating element, a control unit, and a battery configured to deliver power to the aerosol-generating element and to the control unit, the control unit being configured to adjust a duty cycle of a current supplied from the battery to the aerosol-generating element; and the method including measuring, using a measuring unit, at least one first characteristic of the battery, the at least one first characteristic comprising a temperature of the battery; and adjusting, using the control unit, a value of the duty cycle based on a predetermined rule which outputs the value of duty cycle based on the measured at least one battery characteristic. An aerosol-generating device is also provided.
Implantable device for internal urinary control
The present invention relates to an implantable apparatus for obtaining urinary control and emptying of the urinary bladder, thereby preventing from or treating involuntary urinary retention. In general terms, the apparatus comprises an expandable member adapted to be implanted inside the urinary bladder of the patient for discharging urine, and a control device for controlling the volume of the expandable member. The control device is adapted to be connected to the expandable member through the wall of the urinary bladder.
Maxillary devices, controller station, and methods of treating and/or diagnosing medical disorders
Maxillary devices and Mandibular devices each have a first housing connectable to a tooth of a user or connectable or integral with a teeth covering, wherein the housing encloses an on-board circuit board and a power source. The first housing of the maxillary devices has a tooth connecting portion, a palate housing portion and/or a buccal housing portion. The first housing of the mandibular devices has a tooth connecting portion and a sublingual portion. Each of the palate housing portion and the buccal housing portion enclose a stimulator having an electrode electrically connected to the on-board circuit board and the power source, and can enclose a sensor and/or a medicament dispenser. The sublingual portion encloses a sensor and a medicament dispenser each of which are in electrical communication with the microprocessor of the on-board circuit board.
Mist inhaler devices
A mist inhaler device (200) for generating a mist including a therapeutic for inhalation by a user. The device includes a mist generator device (201) and a driver device (202). The driver device (202) is configured to drive the mist generator device (201) at an optimum frequency to maximise the efficiency of mist generation by the mist generator device (201).
Vaporizer with cover sleeve
A vaporizer may include a battery portion, a cartomizer connectable with the battery portion, and a sleeve fitable over the cartomizer. The sleeve and an outer shell of the battery portion may have the same or complimentary colors or patterns. The battery portion may further include a plurality of illuminable indicators, which may illuminate to indicate, for instance, remaining voltage of a battery housed within the battery portion.
