VARIABLE CAMSHAFT
A one or more plane, variable camshaft is described. The single plane camshaft includes a circular drive plate with two radial drive slots on opposing sides of the center, four arms movably coupled at respective endpoints and arranged in a polar configuration, and a scroll plate to allow adjustable operation of the camshaft. Multiple plane camshafts may include a number of half drive plates arranged around a drive block and secured to a base washer through a scroll block. The variable camshaft may be incorporated into portable, motorized or manual, bag valve mask based resuscitation devices or similar ones.

Apparatus and method for measuring and recording the quantity of medicament remaining in a medicament dosing device
The present invention concerns an apparatus (1) for measuring and recording the remaining quantity of medicament in a medicament dosing device (2). The apparatus (1) has a location where the medicament dosing device (2) can be inserted. Combined with that location the apparatus (1) has equipment for measuring and analysing. The apparatus is characterised in that this equipment for measuring and analysing comprises a contact image sensor (3) combined with that location for the medicament dosing device, and a software in connection with the contact image sensor. In addition the object of this invention is the corresponding method for measuring and recording the remaining quantity of medicament in a medicament dosing device (2).
Aromatherapy Vaporization Device
A phyto material vaporization device is disclosed for being powered by an atomizer power supply having a central axis and a control button for being attached to an aromatherapy water pipe having an input port in fluid communication with an inhalation aperture. A water pipe engagement member is provided for being releasably coupled with the aromatherapy water pipe and a fastening mechanism for releasably fastening the water pipe engagement member to the aromatherapy water pipe. An atomizer power supply receptacle for releasably coupling with the atomizer power supply for receiving of electrical energy therefrom and a conduction heating element for receiving of the phyto material and for being disposed proximate the aromatherapy water pipe input port for restricting of ambient air flowing into the input port and having an electrical connection for electrically coupling with the atomizer power supply receptacle.

A method of supplying electrical power to a medical device includes discharging a first external battery to output electrical power to a second external battery. Distribution of the electrical power received by the second external battery is controlled to simultaneously charge the second external battery and output electrical power from the second external battery to supply electrical power to the medical device.

HEART RATE MONITOR FOR AN AEROSOL DELIVERY DEVICE
An aerosol delivery device includes at least one housing structured to retain an aerosol precursor composition, and an atomizer. A microprocessor is configured to operate in an active mode in which the control body is configured to control the atomizer to activate and produce an aerosol from the aerosol precursor composition. A heart rate monitor is configured to obtain biopotential measurements from a user, the biopotential measurements forming an identifier of the user. The microprocessor is operably coupled with the heart rate monitor and is configured to perform a biometric authentication of the user based on the identifier, and to control operation of at least one functional element of the aerosol delivery device based on the biopotential measurements, with the controlling operation of at least one functional element including altering a locked state of the aerosol delivery device based on the biometric authentication.
PORTABLE ELECTROMECHANICAL RESUSCITATOR BAG SINGLE SIDED COMPRESSION DEVICE
An example device comprises: a cradle to support a resuscitator bag; a paddle arm comprising: a paddle surface disposed opposite the cradle; and a pair of arms extending from the paddle surface; a housing comprising: top, bottom, front and rear sides, and an opening at the front side, towards the top side; the paddle surface extending through the opening; the pair of arms, of the paddle arm, rotatably attached to the housing at an end opposite the paddle surface towards the rear side; a nut assembly rotatably attached to the pair of arms therebetween; a screw threaded through the nut assembly; and a motor rotatably attached to the housing towards the bottom side of the housing; the motor configured to: drive the screw relative to the nut assembly to move the paddle arm towards and away from the cradle, to compress and release the resuscitator bag when located therebetween.
Packaging assembly
A packaging assembly comprises a case configured to contain at least one injection device for delivering a medicament; a cooling unit configured to lower an internal temperature of the case; a processing arrangement; a device sensor configured to detect at least one injection device contained within the case, and to receive device storage information from the at least one detected injection device; and a data storage device. The processing arrangement is configured to record an injection history on the data storage device. The processor arrangement is configured to control the cooling unit to set an internal temperature of the case according to the received device storage information.
