Electronic control device and abnormality/normality determination method of electronic control device

An electronic control device has a compact abnormality detection circuit that does not require a complicated circuit, and is capable of suppressing a cost increase when being applied a direct injection injector drive circuit and other drive circuits. A current detection circuit includes a current detection resistor, a differential amplifier, and a current detection unit. The current detected is supplied to the abnormality/normality determination unit. A combined resistance value of a diagnostic current drive circuit and the current detection resistor is higher than an injector drive circuit. A fuel injection signal is input to a logic circuit, and a fuel cut signal is input to a different terminal of the logic circuit. The logic circuit's output terminal is connected to the injector drive circuit's gate. The output signal from a fuel injection signal output unit is supplied via a switch to the diagnostic current drive circuit's gate.

An engine system comprises a fuel tank, an internal combustion engine, a generator, a recoil starter, a control unit, an injector, a fuel pump, an ignition apparatus, and a detection unit that detects a number-of-rotations of the internal combustion engine. The control unit, in a starting period of the internal combustion engine using the recoil starter, determines whether or not the internal combustion engine can perform self-sustaining rotation based on the number-of-rotations, and if the internal combustion engine cannot perform self-sustaining rotation. Electric power is not supplied to the ignition apparatus, the injector, and the fuel pump when the internal combustion engine cannot perform self-sustaining rotation. The electric power is supplied to them when the internal combustion engine can perform self-sustaining rotation.

EFI throttle body with side fuel injectors

An electronic fuel injection throttle body unit has a core body with two side components. The two side components each including a fuel delivery passage. Four air intake passages extending vertically through the throttle body. Valves are rotatable within the air intake passages. The valves being connected to valve shafts that rotate about respective valve shaft axes. The valve shaft axes and the fuel delivery passages are perpendicular to each other.

Injection control device

An injection control device controls a solenoid in a fuel injection valve. The injection control device includes a transistor on an upstream side of a first power supply path to the solenoid, and a transistor on an upstream side of a second power supply path to the solenoid. The injection control device has another transistor with a body diode arranged in parallel at a position between an upstream terminal of the solenoid and ground. The injection control device also includes a transistor on the downstream side of the first and second power supply paths. A drive controller in the injection control device drives the solenoid to an open position by switching ON the transistor on the downstream side and one of the transistors on the upstream side power supply paths.

Fuel delivery system

A fuel delivery system for an engine includes a fuel rail, a fuel injector, and a clip. The fuel rail has a cup that defines an opening. The fuel injector has an upper end that is disposed within the opening such that the cup and fuel injector are axially aligned. The clip is secured to the fuel injector and engages the cup to orient the fuel injector radially relative to the cup. The clip has a tab that extends outward relative to the fuel injector. The tab defines a central orifice that is configured to receive a fastener. The fastener is configured to mount a wire harness.

Positioning feature of a stator assembly of a fuel injector

A positioning feature includes a first member so that in an embodiment where the pins of a connector are perpendicular to a main axis, an incorrect angular orientation is prevented by the positioning feature that would contact one of the pins and, a correct angular orientation is assured by the engagement of the first member between the pins.

A fluid injector for connecting a connection port of a container or tank includes a housing and a transmission mechanism disposed in the housing. The housing has a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet surrounded by an annular wall. A control valve is provided in the housing for opening and closing the fluid inlet. One end of the transmission mechanism is connected to the control valve, and another end of the transmission mechanism is connected to a movable post passing through the annular wall. When the control valve opens or closes the fluid inlet, the transmission mechanism is driven by the control valve, and the movable post extends out of the annular wall to be engaged with the connection port or retracts into the annular wall, thereby determining the connection state of the fluid injector and the connection port and ensuring that the movable post is exactly controlled.

An injector includes a nozzle portion to inject fluid, a coil to generate a driving force to open and close the nozzle portion, and a molded resin that seals the coil. A cooling jacket has a flow path to cause cooling fluid to flow therethrough. The cooling jacket houses the injector and has an opening in an end opposite to the nozzle portion. A sealing material is filled in a space between the cooling jacket and the molded resin.
