Code verification sleeve for a quick connector

An improved quick connector with code verification is provided. The quick connector includes a connector body, a connector sleeve, and a sliding lock latch. The connector body includes a verification indicia on its outer surface, and the connector sleeve is movable over the connector body and includes an indicator window that aligns with the verification indicia. The sliding lock latch is moveable from an unlatched position to a latched position through transverse openings in the connector sleeve and the connector body. The sliding lock latch includes first and second wing elements to prevent clockwise and counter-clockwise rotation of the connector sleeve relative to the connector body. The sliding lock latch also includes a locking tab on its outer surface to prevent retraction of the connector sleeve from the connector body.

Fuel pipe

Provided is a fuel pipe connected to a fuel distribution pipe distributing and supplying fuel to a plurality of fuel injection devices. The fuel pipe includes a pipe body and a connection head part fastened to the fuel distribution pipe by a cap nut. The connection head part includes a first curved portion curved in a circular shape in a reference cross-section including a central axis A of the fuel pipe and abutting against a seat surface formed on an inner peripheral surface of the fuel distribution pipe, a second curved portion curved in a circular shape in the reference cross-section and locked on a locking surface formed on an inner peripheral surface of the cap nut, and a straight portion extending linearly in the reference cross-section and interconnecting the first curved portion and the second curved portion.

Valve for metering a fluid, in particular, a fuel injector

A valve, in particular, a fuel injector, has an improved sealing at its spray-side end. The fuel injector includes an excitable actuator for actuating a valve closing body, which together with a valve seat surface formed on a valve seat body forms a seal seat, and spray openings formed downstream of the valve seat surface, and a valve seat support, which accommodates the valve seat body, forms a portion of a valve housing and is fixedly connected to the valve seat body. A plastically deformable sealing element is introduced into an annular gap between the valve seat support and the valve seat body to avoid corrosion and damage of a weld seam.

Connector

A connector includes: a connector body formed in a tubular shape; a valve housing formed in a tubular shape and provided inside the connector body with a seal structure interposed therebetween, the seal structure restricting flow of fuel between the valve housing and an inner circumferential surface of the connector body; and a valve body stored inside the valve housing, the valve body being configured to, when high-pressure fuel does not flow back, come into a first state in which a forward flow path is formed between the valve body and an inner circumferential surface of the valve housing by a pressure of low-pressure fuel, and when the high-pressure fuel flows back, come into a second state in which an orifice flow path having a smaller flow path sectional area than the forward flow path is formed between the valve body and the inner circumferential surface of the valve housing.

A fuel injector includes an upper housing having an outer peripheral surface; a nozzle tip with a nozzle opening which serves as an outlet to fuel from the fuel injector; and a valve needle which is selectively moveable between a first position which prevents fuel flow and a second position which permits fuel flow. The fuel injector also includes an inlet sleeve which includes an inner peripheral surface which circumferentially surrounds, and mates with, the outer peripheral surface of the upper housing. The inlet sleeve is fixed to the upper housing, thereby preventing relative movement between the inlet sleeve and the upper housing. The inlet sleeve includes external threads which are configured to mate with complementary internal threads of a nut which secures a fuel supply conduit to the upper housing.

The gasket includes a body portion 121 which is to be fixed in close contact with an inner peripheral surface of an insertion hole 810 while being spaced apart from an insertion member 900, and a flexible portion 122 which is flexurally deformable and provided to extend from the body portion 121 toward an inner peripheral surface side of the body portion 121. The flexible portion 122 is flexurally bent by being pressed by an extended surface portion 920 of the insertion member 900 and comes into close contact with the extended surface portion 920 while being spaced apart from each of a housing 800 and the insertion portion 910.

BOLT STYLE SUSPENDED FUEL INJECTOR

A fuel injector assembly includes a fuel cup, a fuel injector, and a bolt. The fuel cup defines a cavity and a cup inlet. The fuel injector includes an injection tip and an upper housing. The injection tip defines a fuel outlet opposite the upper housing. The upper housing defines a fuel inlet and a threaded bore. The fuel inlet is disposed within the cavity and in fluid communication with the cup inlet. The threaded bore is disposed within the fuel cup. The bolt is threadably engaged with the threaded bore. The bolt couples the upper housing to the fuel cup.

Provided is a fuel distribution device 1 including a fuel distribution pipe 3, a fuel pipe 4, and a connecting member 5. The fuel distribution pipe 3 has a seat section 21 having a first convex curved surface 24 formed on an outer circumferential surface thereof. The fuel pipe 4 has a seal section 27 having a second concave curved surface 28 formed on an inner circumferential surface thereof, and a second convex curved surface 29 corresponding to the second concave curved surface 28 is formed on an outer circumferential surface thereof. The connecting member 5 presses the seal section 27 against the seat section 21 from an opposite side of the fuel distribution pipe 3. A radius of curvature SR.sub.2 of the second concave curved surface 28 is greater than a radius of curvature SR.sub.1 of the first convex curved surface 24.

Ring installation device

A ring installation device for installing a ring to a part includes an inner mandrel which is tapered in order to expand the ring. An outer mandrel is tubular such that the inner mandrel is received within the outer mandrel and such that the inner mandrel is moveable within the outer mandrel along an axis. A ring stripper is tubular such that the outer mandrel is receive within the ring stripper and such that the outer mandrel is moveable within the inner mandrel along the axis. The inner mandrel is moveable along the axis relative to the outer mandrel and the ring stripper from an inner mandrel first position to an inner mandrel second position. The outer mandrel is moveable by the inner mandrel along the axis relative to the ring stripper from an outer mandrel first position to an outer mandrel second position.
