The container pod may include filters for the vapor produced from the herbal composition. The container pod may also include a support member for holding and evenly distributing the herbal composition within the internal volume during vaporization. A vaporizer may be configured to obtain information regarding the contents of the herbal composition. The vaporizer may expose the herbal composition to an automated series of timed temperature adjustments specifically tailored for producing a desirable herbal vapor. The herbal vapor may be collected into a bag and/or canister for subsequent consumption.

The present teachings may thus include a system where hemodialysis is performed using a healthy animal (e.g., a person with normal kidney function) to help remove harmful solutes from, and provide helpful solutes to, a kidney patient. In this manner, the healthy animal is virtually donating its kidney function to the kidney patient.

Irrigation and aspiration device

An irrigation and aspiration device includes a drive assembly, an evacuation chamber, and a delivery apparatus. The delivery apparatus includes an evacuation tube configured to hold an irrigation solution and a vacuum tube that is in fluid communication with the evacuation chamber. The drive assembly is configured to store a restoration energy within the evacuation chamber and force the irrigation solution out of the evacuation tube in response to an applied force. The device is configured to use the restoration energy to draw an aspiration fluid into the vacuum tube.
