A second band portion has a ring shape so as to surround the outer circumference of the injector, is disconnected in the circumferential direction by a slit, and is arranged adjacent to the first band portion in an axial direction. Plural elastic band portions connect the first band portion and the second band portion in the axial direction. The mounting tool is made of a single metallic plate.

Fluid injection assembly

A fuel injector assembly with a fuel injector and a coupling device is disclosed. The coupling device includes a fuel injector cup, a plate element, one or more screws and a wing clip. The plate element includes at least one through-hole for fixedly coupling the fuel injector cup with the plate element by the screw or screws respectively, so that the fuel injector cup, the plate element and the screw(s) are positionally fixed with respect to each other. The wing clip is arranged at least partly around the fuel injector and extends outward in a radial direction such that the screw or screws, respectively, are operable to block a movement of the fuel injector relative to the plate element in a first direction of the central longitudinal axis by mechanical interaction with the wing clip.

Dual-fuel fuel injector

A dual-fuel fuel injector, having: a first nozzle needle for discharge of liquid fuel via a first nozzle arrangement; and a multiplicity of second nozzle needles, arranged around the first nozzle needle and controlled in terms of axial stroke, for discharge of gaseous fuel via a second nozzle arrangement. Each of the second nozzle needles has for controlling the stroke thereof, a respective control chamber in the injector which can be charged with and relieved of pressure by a control fluid. The dual-fuel fuel injector has an annular duct which can be charged with and relieved of pressure by the control fluid. The dual-fuel fuel injector is designed such that, for controlling the stroke of the second nozzle needles, the control chambers for the second nozzle needles are charged with and relieved of pressure by the control fluid proceeding from the annular duct.

FUEL INLET FILTER FOR FUEL INJECTORS

A method for compensating for a variable distance between two components of an apparatus for providing a fluid filtering device therebetween is provided. The method comprises placing an adjustable filtering device between two components, altering the distance between the two components, and compensating for the change in distance between the two components by varying a dimension of the adjustable filtering device.

Needle for a jet device

A needle for a jet device includes a needle body and a tapered part arranged at the end of the needle body, in which the needle body is circumferentially provided with supporting bodies, so that when the needle is assembled in a nozzle of the jet device, the outer surfaces of the supporting bodies are coordinated with an inner chamber of the nozzle to limit the position of the needle body and form fluid channels among the supporting bodies, thereby to effectively prevent the needle from deviating from the spout of the nozzle or from radially swinging.

Bluff body fuel mixer

A combustor is provided. The combustor may include an axial fuel injection system, and a radial fuel injection system aft of the axial fuel injection system. The axial fuel injection system includes a mixer having a bluff body at an exit port of the mixer, and a fuel injector disposed within the mixer. A fuel and air mixer is also provided and comprises an outer housing with an exit port and a bluff body. The bluff body extends across the exit port of the outer housing. A fuel injection system is also provided. The systems comprise a mixer having a bluff body at an exit port of the mixer and a fuel injector disposed within the mixer.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN IMPROVED FILTER FOR INJECTORS OF FUEL, OILS, SOLUTIONS, ADDITIVES AND FLUIDS IN GENERAL, AND FILTER THUS PRODUCED
20170298885 · 2017-10-19 ·

Method for producing a filter for injectors of fuel, oil, solutions, additives and fluids in general, for example for braking and transmission systems. The filter including an element of plastic material and having a tubular shape, open at opposite ends, internally hollow and having on one wall of its internal cavity a plurality of projections spaced apart from one another. These projections interacting with portions of a filter element of the pleated type associated with this tubular element and capable of filtering the fluid circulating through the tubular element. The filter element and the tubular element to form a single filter body by being co-moulded, the filter element being incorporated and completely positioned within the tubular element, but having portions of filter surface area free of this tubular element to allow passage and filtration of circulating fluid.

FUEL INJECTOR AND FUEL SYSTEM FOR COMBUSTION ENGINE

A fuel injector for a combustion engine includes an injector head including a nozzle, a premixer, and a distributor structured to distribute a plurality of different fuels to different sets of fueling orifices in the premixer. A pilot assembly of the fuel injector is coupled to the premixer and includes a first fueling passage for a first fuel and a second fueling passage for a second fuel. Multiple sets of fueling orifices are positioned within the fuel injector, the fueling orifice sets being selectively connectable to a plurality of different fuel supplies, and both located and sized so as to accommodate a wide range of flow rates to enable a combustion engine coupled with the fuel injector to operate on fuels having a range of Wobbe numbers and compositions.
