DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL SUPPLY PUMP, AND HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL SUPPLY PUMP
To reduce collision noise caused when an electromagnetic valve of a high-pressure fuel supply pump is opened. Therefore, in a control device for controlling a high-pressure fuel supply pump including: an anchor; a fixed core configured to attract the anchor with an electromagnetic force; a suction valve configured to be opened or closed when the anchor is sucked by the fixed core; and an electromagnetic force generation unit configured to generate the electromagnetic force when applied with a driving voltage, it can be achieved by providing a control unit configured to perform control to lower a driving current from a peak current before a timing at which the anchor is sucked by the fixed core and collides in an operation state where an engine is under no load and an engine rotation speed is equal to or less than a set rotation speed.
Injection system, in particular fuel injection system, having a fluid-conveying component, a metering valve, and a mounting system
A mounting system for fuel injection systems connects a fuel injection valve to a fluid-conveying component and includes a connector piece of the metering valve being inserted at least partly into a receiving space of a connector body of the component; a support part disposed on the connector piece; a decoupling element; a dished disk inserted into a receiving space of the connector body and immobilized along a longitudinal axis of the receiving space relative to the connector body. The support part has a spherical support surface that faces toward a dished surface of the dished disk. The decoupling element is disposed between the spherical support surface of the support part and the dished disk. The connector piece is mounted on the connector body via the support part, decoupling element, and dished disk.
Fuel injection devices
An improved fuel injection device for internal combustion engines comprising a slidable (pilot) valve instead of a needle valve principle. The valve does not comprise a seat, so, even in the case of a spring-loaded embodiment of the valve there is no risk of hammering of the valve on a seat with the pertaining generation of noise. The improved fuel injector allows a larger nozzle diameter and, therefore, a larger number of nozzle holes, if required or deemed useful. For rotating embodiments of the fuel injector, the valve or at least its spring, in the case of a spring-loaded embodiment of the valve, can be located in the static section of the rotating fuel injector, thus eliminating the balancing problem of prior art rotating fuel injectors which comprise a spring in the rotating section.
Isolator for fuel injector
A fuel injector isolator includes a support member which is rigid and which is annular in shape being centered about an axis such that the support member has a support member inner periphery which circumferentially surrounds the axis and includes a concave region. The fuel injector isolator also includes an isolation member which is resilient and compliant and which is annular in shape being centered about the axis such that the support member has an isolation member outer periphery and an isolation member inner periphery which accommodates the fuel injector therein. The isolation member is located within the support member inner periphery and includes 1) an isolation member outer periphery upper retention surface which engages the support member first end surface and 2) an isolation member outer periphery lower retention surface which extends into the concave region and engages the concave region of the support member.
