FUEL INJECTION VALVE
A fuel injection valve includes a valve body, a fixed core, a movable core, a spring, and a cup. The spring is elastically deformed according to valve opening operation of the valve body, and exerts a valve closing elastic force for closing the valve body. The cup contacts a valve closing contact surface of the valve body, and transmits the valve closing elastic force to the valve body. At a start of predetermined-distance movement of the movable core together with the cup, the cup is in contact with the valve closing contact surface, and the valve body or the cup has a supply flow channel through which fuel is supplied to the valve body closing contact surface which is in a state contacting the cup.
Control device for fuel injection device
A control device of a fuel injection device improves stabilization in an opening operation of a valve element and stabilizes an injection amount. The control device includes a valve element to open a fuel passage by being separated from a valve seat, a movable iron core to perform an opening/closing operation of the valve element, and a fixed iron core to attract the movable iron core when a current flows to a coil. The control device includes a control unit which performs an intermediate energization in which the coil is energized again to attract the movable iron core to the fixed iron core and then the energizing to the coil is blocked and the movable iron core is displaced in a direction away from the fixed core. The control unit controls whether the intermediate energization is performed according to an injection interval of the fuel injection device.
Decoupling element for a fuel-injection device
A decoupling element for a fuel-injection device has a low-noise and pivotable construction. The fuel-injection device includes at least a fuel injector and a receiving bore in a cylinder head for the fuel injector as well as the decoupling element between a valve housing of the fuel injector and a wall of the receiving bore. The decoupling element is in the form of a ring, in particular a closed ring, which has a lower end face that sits on a shoulder of the receiving bore, and which has an upper end face that rises conically from radially outside toward radially inside and is in intimate contact with a spherically curved shoulder area of the valve housing of the fuel injector. The fuel-injection device is particularly suitable for the direct injection of fuel into a combustion chamber of a mixture-compressing combustion engine having externally supplied ignition.
INJECTOR
An electromagnetically driven injector may include an electromagnetic coil, a movable core, a doughnut-shaped fixed core, a valve, a coil spring, and at least one plate spring. When the electromagnetic coil is not energized, a valve closed state may be maintained by a valve element of the valve normally biased in a valve closed direction by cooperation of the coil spring and the at least one plate spring. When the electromagnetic coil is energized, the valve may be opened by the movable core being attracted to the doughnut-shaped fixed core, the valve element attached to the movable core disposed so as to be attracted to the fixed core disposed on a center of the electromagnetic coil being disposed along a stroke direction in the coil spring, the at least one plate spring being provided at a right angle to the stroke direction of the valve element, a central portion of the at least one plate spring being fixed at a fixation position while sandwiched between the valve element and the movable core, both of the valve element and the movable core being in contact with the fixation position, a peripheral edge portion of the at least one plate spring being fixed while sandwiched on a nozzle side. The fixation position of the movable core and the valve element that sandwich the central portion of the at least one plate spring may be assembled by laser welding.
Fuel Injector and Nozzle Passages Therefor
A fuel injector for an internal combustion engine. The fuel injector has a needle and a nozzle that inter-relate with each other in assembly. Relative movement between the needle and nozzle bring the fuel injector between a closed state of operation and an open state of operation amid use of the fuel injector. The nozzle has one or more passages therein through which fuel is discharged.
Three stage proportional control valve
An energize-to-close solenoid operated spool type inlet control valve for a high pressure fuel pump is variably positionable relative to a sleeve having three inlet feed ports and the inlet check valve member, to implement three stages of pump operation: limp-home, low-pressure flow from the low-pressure feed pump to the common rail, no flow to the common rail, and metered quantity of flow to the common rail. The spool valve includes an axially extending internal passage fluidly connected to a fluid volume at the front end of the spool valve, and a control port at the back end of the spool valve, selectively alignable to fluidly connect the ports. Two springs of different lengths either alone or together, bias the spool valve toward opening of the inlet check valve.
Fuel injector
A mobile valve member designed to be arranged in the nozzle body of a fuel injector, extends along a main axis and includes a piston formed of a first male cylinder of effective diameter forming the top end of the mobile member and of a second cylinder provided with an internal cylindrical bore of the effective diameter and a shutoff member including a male cylindrical shaft of the effective diameter that fits slidingly in the internal bore, and of a member extending as far as a pointed end provided with a mobile seat and forming the bottom end of the mobile member. The mobile member is hydraulically balanced and the length between the top end and the bottom end thereof is variable as a result of the sliding of the cylindrical shaft in the internal bore of the piston.
FUEL INJECTION VALVE
A fuel injection valve includes: a circular plate portion that is abuttable against an end surface of a needle opposite from a valve seat while the needle being provided to open and close an injection hole upon lifting and seating of the needle relative to the valve seat; and a tubular portion that extends from the circular plate portion toward the valve seat and has an end part, which is opposite from the circular plate portion and is abuttable against a movable core second contact surface of a movable core opposite from the valve seat. In a state where the circular plate portion abuts against the needle, and the tubular portion abuts against the movable core, a gap is formed between a flange member end surface of a flange of the needle and a movable core first contact surface of the movable core opposite from the valve seat.
Fuel injector
The invention relates to a fuel injector, in particular a common-rail injector (1), comprising an injector housing (2), in which a nozzle needle (8), which is arranged in such a way that the nozzle needle can be moved in a reciprocating manner, is arranged in a high-pressure chamber (6) in order to open and close at least one injection opening (5), which nozzle needle bounds a control chamber (20) by means of one end face and interacts with a nozzle body seat (10) by means of the other end face in order to open and close the injection opening (5). The nozzle needle (8) has a first sleeve-shaped supporting element (14), to which force is applied in the closing direction of the nozzle needle (8). In addition, the nozzle needle (8) has a second sleeve-shaped supporting element, which surrounds the nozzle needle (8) and which is arranged in the direction of the end face of the nozzle needle (8) that is close to the control chamber. The second supporting element (16) is arranged at a distance from the first supporting element (14) axially in the closing direction of the nozzle needle (8). At least one of the stop surfaces (33, 34) of the first (14) sleeve-shaped supporting element or of the second (16) sleeve-shaped supporting element that face each other has at least one cut-out (36).
