A PACKAGE ASSEMBLY
An assembly for a medicament delivery device is presented where the medicament delivery device is arranged within a package as a first subassembly extending along a longitudinal axis from a first end to a second end and a second subassembly, where the package has a first shell with a first body that extends along the longitudinal axis and defines a first chamber inside the first body that holds the first subassembly. A second shell having a second body extends along the longitudinal axis and defines a second chamber that holds the second subassembly, where the second shell is attached to the first shell by a first hinge. The first shell has a first pulling element extending along the longitudinal axis and is attached to the first subassembly and is attached to the first body by a second, where the first pulling element has a first gripper arranged at a second end of the first pulling element.
PISTON RESUSCITATOR AND/OR VENTILATOR SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR USING SAME
Resuscitation/ventilation systems that include a pressure chamber or cylinder may use a piston articulated within the pressure chamber or shaft to push air and/or a mixture of gas and air into and out of an airway circuit for the purpose of providing mechanical ventilation and/or artificial respiration to a patient. In some cases, the pressure chamber or cylinder may be resident within a canister that fits with a body. The canister may include a motor that moves a shaft connected to the piston up and down, or in and out, within the pressure chamber or cylinder and this movement of the piston may cause a vacuum within the airway circuit and/or the pushing of air or gas out of the airway circuit into a patient’s lung(s).
Method and device for supplying oxygen to a patient
A system for delivering oxygen to a substantially stationary patient without coupling a device to the body of the patient is disclosed. The system includes a source of oxygen coupled to a delivery system wherein the delivery system has a pump configured to pressurize oxygen and an elongate hollow member operatively coupled to the pump. The elongate hollow member has a proximal end and a distal end and is constructed to receive oxygen in its proximal end and deliver oxygen to the patient out the distal end. The length and diameter of the elongate member, the flow of oxygen through the elongate member, and the distance from the distal end of the elongate member to the face of the patient are optimized to collimate a stream of oxygen such that when the stream of oxygen reaches the patients face it envelops the face of the patient.
Spray canister device
A spray canister device is provided including a canister containing a liquid product, a canister housing having an opening, a chassis element, and a tray slidably coupled to the chassis element. The canister includes an actuator cap and is positioned in the canister housing such that a nozzle of the actuator cap is positioned proximate the opening. The canister housing, and the canister positioned therein, may be engaged with the tray via at least one protruding member. Once engaged, the tray may be slidably moved along the chassis element between a retracted position and an extended position to facilitate relative movement between the canister and the canister housing to compress the actuator cap of the canister and spray the liquid product.
INJECTION GADGET
Disclosed is an injection gadget corresponding to an end-effector such as a rescue robot or the like. The injection gadget is configured such that an injection needle is disposed inside an injection assembly, an injection liquid is provided between a cylinder and a piston of the injection assembly, and the piston is moved by an elastic force of a spring previously compressed inside the cylinder so that the injection needle protrudes to the outside of the injection assembly and the injection liquid is ejected, and includes a bracket that replaceably mounts the injection assembly, a main body that is connected to the bracket and includes a first body space portion of which one side surface facing the bracket and the other side surface are open to pass through each other and a second body space portion that is disposed next to the first body space portion, a controller that is mounted in the second body space portion, a linear actuator that moves a transfer shaft in accordance with a control signal of the controller, and a pusher that is disposed between the linear actuator and the injection assembly, and transmits a force of the linear actuator toward the injection assembly so that a locking pin of the bracket is deviated from locking guides of the piston of the injection assembly.
Ergonomic Tubing Attachment for Medical Apparatus
An ergonomic attachment system for connecting an irrigation tube or an aspiration tube to a surgical handpiece that reduces surgeon wrist fatigue due to tubing twist. The tube is connected to the handpiece through a swivel joint which allows the tube to rotate circumferentially with respect to the handpiece and self-adjust to a neutral position to relieve the twist.
Patient interface and headgear for a respiratory apparatus
This invention relates to headgear and a patient interface, or components of a headgear or patient interface, such as a nasal cannula. In one embodiment is a size adjustable headstrap to be provided as a headgear or a part thereof, in another is a portion of a headstrap or component for association therewith in which the portion or component facilitates improved location of the strap upon a user's face, in another embodiment is a system for encapsulating or covering a connector from contact with a user's face or facial skin, in another embodiment is a face mount part or body for a patient interface of a particular configuration, and in yet a further embodiment is a gases flow manifold for delivering of gases to a patient interface of a particular configuration for improved patient comfort.
Apparatus for infusing fluid
A pump for pumping fluid includes a tube platen, a plunger, a bias member, inlet and outlet valves, an actuator mechanism, a position sensor, and a processor. The plunger is configured for actuation toward and away from the infusion-tube when the tube platen is disposed opposite to the plunger. The tube platen can hold an intravenous infusion tube. The bias member is configured to urge the plunger toward the tube platen.
INTRAVENOUS INJECTION AID FOR INDICATING VEIN
The present invention relates to the intravenous injection aid for indicating vein, comprising: a compression strap; a binding means disposed at the opposite ends of the compression strap; a near-infrared lamp disposed at the compression strap; and a controller disposed on the compression strap for controlling the near-infrared lamp. The present invention as mentioned above may not only indicates vein with high visibility but also keep the vein from swaying or moving even during intravenous injection, so the intravenous injection can be carried out safely and efficiently.
THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MEDICAL DEVICES
A medical device includes a housing, a power supply, a thermally conductive mounting clamp, a heat shield, and at least one fastener. The housing includes a handle. The power supply is disposed within the housing. The thermally conductive mounting clamp is attached to an outer surface of the housing. The heat shield is disposed within the housing adjacent to the power supply. The heat shield is disposed against at least one interior surface of the handle. The at least one fastener passes through at least one opening in the housing and is in thermally conductive contact with the thermally conductive mounting clamp. Heat generated by the power supply is configured to dissipate from the power supply, through the heat shield, through the at least one fastener, and into the thermally conductive mounting clamp.
