SYSTEMS FOR PROVIDING AROMATHERAPY AND DEVICES INCORPORATED THEREIN FOR DIFFUSING ESSENTIAL OILS
A system for providing aromatherapy to a user is described herein. The system comprises a mobile computing device including a mobile application to control the system; a diffuser mounted to the mobile computing device, the diffuser including: a body, one or more cavities in the body, one or more heating elements positioned to provide localized heating to the one or more cavities, a processor, and one or more non-transitory computer storage mediums. The system also includes a plurality of carriers including scented material, the carriers sized and configured to reversibly fill a cavity and position scented material proximate a heating element. The non-transitory computer storage mediums are encoded with one or more computer programs that, when executed by the processor in response to instructions from the mobile computing device, instruct the heating elements to apply heat from the heating elements to activate the scented material and deliver a predetermined aromatherapy experience to the user. Corresponding methods also are disclosed.
RESTING PUMP
An apparatus for allowing a user to use a breast pump while resting. The apparatus includes a resting pump mount having a divot sufficiently sized to fit a user's breast. The body substantially holds shape and is at least partially compressible. The apparatus may include comfort features, attached breast pumps, or receptacles to allow for attachment of a breast pump.
Integrated strontium-rubidium radioisotope infusion systems
Methods for setting up, maintaining and operating a radiopharmaceutical infusion system, that includes a radioisotope generator, are facilitated by a computer of the system. The computer may include pre-programmed instructions and a computer interface, for interaction with a user of the system, for example, in order to track contained volumes of eluant and/or eluate, and/or to track time from completion of an elution performed by the system, and/or to calculate one or more system and/or injection parameters for quality control, and/or to perform purges of the system, and/or to facilitate diagnostic imaging.
ANESTHESIA MACHINE, VETERINARY ANESTHESIA MACHINE, AND WASTE GAS ABSORPTION TANK SUPPORTING DEVICE THEREFOR
The disclosure provides an anesthesia machine, a veterinary anesthesia machine, and a waste gas absorption tank supporting device, the waste gas absorption tank supporting device including: a tray provided with a tray recess; and a protrusion structure provided on the tray, the protrusion structure being capable of forming a circumferential protective structure located on an outer side of the tray recess and configured to protect a waste gas absorption tank, and an inner side surface and an outer side surface of the protrusion structure being both protective surfaces capable of protecting the waste gas absorption tank. The waste gas absorption tank supporting device provided by the disclosure can effectively support waste gas absorption tanks of various sizes, so that the waste gas absorption tank is prevented from sliding off from the waste gas absorption tank supporting device during the movement of the anesthesia machine.
DISPOSABLE THROMBECTOMY MACERATION AND ASPIRATION SYSTEM
A disposable thrombectomy maceration and aspiration system for macerating and aspirating thrombus or other obstructive material in a lumen of a vascular graft or vessel. The system includes three major components: a disposable integrated aspiration pump and fluid collection device for generating aspiration vacuum pressure and collecting macerated particulate, a disposable integrated thrombectomy and aspiration apparatus removably coupled to the device configured to macerate the thrombus with a motor powered maceration wire while including an aspiration pathway for aspirating the macerated particulate into the device, and a catheter removably coupled to the apparatus and covering a portion of the maceration wire for insertion into the patient to the thrombus site. The catheter is of sufficient size to allow the macerated particulate to be aspirated from a distal opening through the catheter and apparatus before being deposited into the fluid collection compartment of the device.
MEDICAL SYSTEM WITH SEPARATOR DEVICE
A medical system comprises an operation console, a support platform configured to support a catheter, a driving unit moveably coupled to the support platform, the driving unit being configured to advance or retract the catheter based on an instruction from the operation console, a support platform configured to support a catheter, a separator device including: a first end, a second end opposite the first end, and a fixed length portion between the first end and the second end, and a medical tube adaptor including: a first end, and a second end opposite the first end and mateable with a medical tube. The medical tube is insertable into a mouth of a patient. The second end of the separator device is mateable with or attached to the first end of the medical tube adapter.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CLOSING SYRINGE BODIES
The invention relates to a device (IO) for manually inserting a plunger-type stopper into a syringe cylinder, comprising a receptacle (18) designed to hold the syringe cylinder; a tubular barrel (30) designed to accommodate the plunger-type stopper in its interior, a holding device (28) designed to hold the barrel, and a moving device (40, 42, 44, 46, 48) designed to move the plunger-type stopper; the holding device (28) having an actuation portion (34) for moving the barrel (30) relative to the plunger-type stopper. The present invention further relates to a corresponding method.
Ventilator
There is a ventilator for mechanical ventilation during a breathing cycle including an inhalation cycle and an exhalation cycle. The ventilator is configurable to be in fluid communication with a supply of a first fluid. The ventilator includes an inhalation pathway and an exhalation pathway. A first fluid injector is in fluid communication with the supply of the first fluid for injecting the first fluid. The inhalation pathway receives the first fluid injected by the first fluid injector. A controller is operatively connected with the first fluid injector and programmed to selectively actuate the first fluid injector to inject the first fluid, which is received within the inhalation pathway such that an inhalation pressure in the inhalation pathway is within a predetermined range during the inhalation cycle.
Relocation modules and methods for surgical field
Examples of a module for housing unrelated electronic and electromechanical equipment for use during surgery. The module can include a lower section and a tower-like upper section. The lower section can house unrelated electronic and electromechanical equipment. The tower-like upper section can be located on top of the lower section. A water-resistant cowling can enclose at least a portion of the lower section and the tower-like upper section. A cartridge containing one or more ultraviolet-C producing lights can be protectively housed within the tower-like upper section. The cartridge containing one or more ultraviolet-C producing lights can be configured to emerge upward from a top of the tower-like upper section to substantially seat itself on the top of the tower-like upper section when activated allowing the ultraviolet-C light to disinfect the patient and staff-contacting upper surfaces of the equipment in the operating room.
