RAPID ACTIVATION METHOD OF ELECTRICALLY CONTROLLED COMMON RAIL ENGINE

A rapid activation method of an electrically controlled common ail engine. The method includes: arranging, between an oil outlet of a fuel transfer pump and an oil inlet of a fuel injection pump in the electrically controlled common rail engine, a gas discharging device; and communicating an outlet of the gas discharging device with a fuel tank via a pipe to discharge a gas present in fuel during a normal system operation. By arranging the gas discharging device at an oil feeding port of a fine filter, the method can be utilized to discharge, via the gas discharging device to the outside, air in the fine filter, thereby implementing active gas discharging, and effectively increasing activation performance of the engine.

Systems and Methods for Determining Engine Start Time During Predicted Acceleration Events

A method may include predicting an acceleration event of a vehicle. The method may further include predicting a maximum speed of the predicted acceleration event. The method may also include determining an engine start time based on the predicted maximum speed. The method may still further include starting an engine of the vehicle at the engine start time.

A starter motor assist mechanism is provided. The starter motor assist mechanism may include a housing, a solenoid, and a hammer. The housing may be attachable to a starter motor. The solenoid may be disposed within the housing, and the hammer may be connected to the solenoid. The solenoid may move the hammer from a retracted position to an extended position for striking the starter motor.

VEHICLE GENERATOR CONTROL METHOD AND SYSTEM THEREOF

Provided is a vehicle generator control method. An engine ECU controls the generator according to an operating condition of the engine, and the control process is as follows: when the engine ECU determines that the engine is in a starting condition, the engine ECU controls a generator separately excited loop to be disconnected, so that the generator does not generate electricity; and when the engine ECU determines that the engine enters an idling condition, the engine ECU controls the generator separately excited loop to be closed, so that the generator is started to generate electricity, and after the generator is started to generate electricity, the generator carries out normal electricity generation until the engine stops operating. Through the vehicle generator control method, the starting load of the engine can be effectively reduced, and cold starting capacity is improved. Also provided is a vehicle generator control system.

Provided are a silicate mixture and a combustion accelerator for increasing combustion efficiency in a combustion engine. The silicate mixture is formed by mixing a first component including one or two or more materials selected from silicon compounds including silicon, glass, and quartz, and a second component including one or two or more materials selected from materials formed by sintering a silicate mineral at a temperature of 1300 C. or higher and 2000 C. or lower and ores emitting a terahertz wave.

INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE

An internal combustion engine is provided with a cylinder injector injecting fuel directly into a combustion chamber; an intake injector injecting fuel into an intake passage; and a control device controlling injection of fuel from these injectors. The control device is configured to perform a first control, in which an air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber is formed by only fuel injected from the cylinder injector, until a predetermined timing after startup of the internal combustion engine, and to perform a second control, in which an air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber is formed by fuel containing a larger amount of fuel injected from the intake injector than fuel injected from the cylinder injector, and after the predetermined timing. The air-fuel ratio of the mixture during the second control is smaller than the air-fuel ratio of the air-fuel mixture during the first control and smaller than the stoichiometric air-fuel ratio.

STARTING DEVICE FOR STARTING A COMBUSTION ENGINE AND HANDHELD WORK APPARATUS HAVING SAID STARTING DEVICE

A starting device for a combustion engine includes a housing relative to which a rope pulley, a spring housing and an entrainer can rotate about a rotation axis. A coupling unit produces a rotationally-fixed connection between the rope pulley and the spring housing in response to a rotational movement of the rope pulley in a starting direction. The spring housing has a spring receiving space for a tension spring and is connected to an entrainer by the spring. The coupling unit has a first coupling element and a second coupling element, which interact at a contact location which is at a spacing (d) to the rotation axis and is at least as large as the maximum spacing (c) of the tension spring to the rotation axis.
