Engine starting device and engine starting method
The engine starting device for stopping, when an engine automatic stop condition is satisfied, fuel injection to the engine to automatically stop the engine, and for thereafter restarting the engine when an engine restart condition is satisfied, includes: a ring gear coupled to a crankshaft of the engine; a starter motor rotated by a current supply; a pinion gear for transmitting the rotation of the starter motor to the ring gear; a pinion gear moving part for moving the pinion gear toward the ring gear by a current supply, thereby meshing the pinion gear with the ring gear; and a fuel injection control part for restarting the fuel injection so that combustion is generated in a predetermined compression cylinder after the engine restart condition is satisfied and after the pinion gear moving part starts the movement of the pinion gear.
Power transmitting apparatus
A power transmitting apparatus can be configured to restart an engine when the acceleration pedal is actuated in an assist-start engine speed range and can improve responsiveness of engine restart. Such a power transmitting apparatus of a vehicle can provided with a clutch for selectively transmitting or cutting off a driving power of an engine to wheels. The power transmitting apparatus can comprise an assist-controller configured to increase an engine rotational speed above an self-start rotational speed by actuating the clutch when the vehicle is decelerated and fuel supply to the engine is stopped, in response to operation of an acceleration pedal of the vehicle, when the engine rotational speed is in an assist-start range which is an engine rotational speed range lower than the self-start rotational speed and higher than a starter-start rotational speed in which the engine cannot be started by a starter.
Fuel control apparatus for vehicle and fuel control method for vehicle
A fuel control apparatus for a vehicle, having an electric pump configured to have electric power supplied, to supply fuel from a fuel tank to an injector of an internal combustion engine through a fuel pipe, and a control unit configured to have the internal combustion engine stop automatically when a first predetermined condition is satisfied, and after having the internal combustion engine stop automatically, start automatically when a second predetermined condition is satisfied, includes an operation unit configured, when the control unit has the internal combustion engine stop automatically, to supply electric power from a predetermined electric power supply apparatus to the electric pump, to have the electric pump operate.
METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DIESEL ENGINE RAIL PRESSURE AT THE TIME OF ISG RESTARTING AND DIESEL ISG VEHICLE
Disclosed herein is a diesel ISG vehicle, including an engine ECU controlling a rail pressure of a common rail engine system, in which the engine ECU determines a cold start of the engine based on detected cooling water temperature and detected fuel temperature at the time of engine restarting by idle go of the idle stop & go (ISG) and then restarts the engine by a quick rail pressure control mode in which the pressure of the fuel pumped to a common rail is controlled or restarts the engine by a normal rail pressure control mode in which the flow rate and the pressure of the fuel is controlled, thereby improving the fuel efficiency by the ISG restarting which does not increase a driving torque of a high pressure pump, particularly, reducing a fuel injection quantity by reduction in a loss of accessories such as pump and compressor.
