Vehicular control apparatus
In a vehicular control apparatus, a minimum operating voltage of a first characteristic device is set to be lower than a minimum operating voltage of a second characteristic device. A supply voltage controller is provided between a controller and the second characteristic device to prevent an occurrence of a situation where a supply voltage of a device power supplied to the second characteristic device becomes less than an input voltage of a signal line of a control signal transmitted from the controller to the second characteristic device.
Control Interface for Medium Voltage Circuit Breakers and Switches
System for driving motors for operating switching units, in particular for an electrical supply substation, comprising control units for controlling the motors, wherein the control unit comprises, to have only one of the motors in operation at a time, a device for managing the priority of operation of the motors which is provided with a first line, referred to as the parallel line, carrying a binary datum comprising a first state representative of the stopping of all of the motors and a second state representative of the operation of any one of the motors, to which the units are connected in parallel, the parallel line being connected to a device for preventing/allowing the starting of the motor of each of the units and a second line, referred to as the series line, to which the units are connected in series in an upstream/downstream chain, the series line constituting a means for preventing the operation of the motors downstream of the any one of the motors on detection of a signal for starting the any one of said motors, to which the units are connected in series, the series line being connected to a device for preventing the operation of the motor of each of the units.
Control device for drive system
A drive system includes an engine as a drive source, a lead storage battery that is charged using the engine as a motive power source, a starter that starts up the engine by being driven by electric power from the lead storage battery, and a battery sensor that measures an inter-terminal voltage of the lead storage battery. A control device that is applied to the drive system temporarily stops the engine when a temporary stop condition is satisfied, and starts up the engine again when a discharge amount of the lead storage battery in a period of the temporary stop is larger than a discharge upper limit amount. When an inrush voltage is equal to or lower than a restraint threshold, the discharge upper limit amount is set so as to be smaller than when the inrush voltage is higher than the restraint threshold.
VEHICULAR APPARATUS
A vehicular apparatus receiving power from a battery mounted on a vehicle includes a main controller unit, a defect detection unit, and an operation controller unit. The operation controller unit is configured to turn off an operation of a target device among a plurality of devices controlled by the main controller unit in response to an occurrence of a voltage drop in which the voltage from the battery is equal to or lower than a predetermined threshold value. In response to turning off the operation of the target device due to the voltage drop, the operation controller unit is configured to transmit a notification indicating turning off of the operation of the target device to the defect detection unit. Upon receiving the notification, the defect detection unit is configured to cancel a determination of a defect relative to the target device.
STARTER MOTOR TEMPERATURE INDICATION SYSTEMS
An engine starter apparatus includes a starter motor, a temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of the starter motor, a light source integrated with the starter motor, and a controller operatively connected to the temperature sensor and the light source. The controller is configured to illuminate the light source in a first color in response to the temperature of the starter motor exceeding a first temperature threshold. The controller is configured to illuminate the light source further in a second color in response to the temperature of the starter motor exceeding a second temperature threshold. The second temperature threshold is greater than the first temperature threshold. The first and second color are different. The second temperature threshold corresponds to a life limit of the starter motor. Illumination of the light source indicates an overheated starter motor, which may warrant a replacement of the starter motor.
ENGINE ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT FOR A VEHICLE
An engine electronic control unit (ECU) for a vehicle includes a non-volatile memory and a microcontroller. The non-volatile memory is configured to store an indicator of ignition status having an initial off-status. The microcontroller is coupled to the non-volatile memory and is configured to receive a SOC of a battery for the engine ECU. The microcontroller is further configured to determine the SOC is insufficient to power-up the engine ECU following a reset condition. The microcontroller is further configured to disable over-writing the indicator of ignition status in response to determining the SOC is insufficient.
Control device
A control device includes an engine starting unit that starts an engine on a condition that a first voltage is supplied, an engine control unit that controls an operation of the engine starting unit, and a transmission control unit that drives a transmission on a condition that a second voltage, which is higher than the first voltage, is supplied. The transmission control unit sends an engine start permission signal to the engine control unit in a case where a voltage of power supplied from a battery is the second voltage or higher, and the engine control unit permits the engine starting unit to start the engine on a condition that the engine control unit receives the engine start permission signal.
VEHICLE POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
The vehicle power supply system includes the DC/DC converter that is disposed on an electric path between the first load related to vehicle control and the battery and converts a voltage of direct current power supplied from the battery to the first load, and the detection device that detects the voltage of the battery. In a case where the engine is restarted by using the starter from the automatically stopped state of the engine, the detection device controls the DC/DC converter to start in a case where the voltage of the battery becomes equal to or less than a threshold value during a period from stoppage of the alternator to start of the starter.
Ignition-remote output generator with adjustable delays and battery isolation control
A multiple wired input/output device provides generated battery or regulated voltage outputs with adjustable turn-on and turn-off timing with sequence priority to engine running status. Separate aftermarket audio components, or a combination of aftermarket audio and non-audio related components are activated and deactivated in appropriate order for a variety of installation applications. One or more switched battery voltage inputs override the sequence priority of generated battery or regulated voltage output(s) in relation to engine running status, order or duration.
