THREE-DIMENSIONAL (3D) FLOW FLOATING POWER GENERATOR
A floating electrical power generator having a three-dimensional (3D) flow passageway configured for increasing the water flow on the paddle wheel to increase the power output.
Water wheel pet fountain
A water wheel pet fountain includes a lower basin that holds water, a water wheel that lifts water from the lower basin and delivers it to a collector that has an outlet or spout that allows the water to exit the collector and fall back down into the lower basin in an exposed stream accessible to pets for drinking. A motor is removably carried on the basin and a removable cowl covers the water wheel. The fountain can be taken apart for cleaning and the electronics and motor can be separated from the components being cleaned. The parts that contact water have large fillets and can be made with an antimicrobial plastic.
Floating wind-wave integrated power generation system
The present invention relates generally to the offshore renewable energy utilization technology. A novel floating wind-wave integrated power generation system is based on the braceless semi-submersible floating wind turbine concept and the oscillating water column (OWC) wave energy generator. The integrated system includes the offshore wind energy system and the oscillating water column wave energy system. The novel floating wind-wave integrated power generation system transfers the rise and fall movement of the water column into the air in and out movement which is converted into the electricity by the air turbine generator. This invention makes good use of pontoons at of the semi-floating platform and the mooring lines. Since the wave energy system will move with the wave movement, which will reduce the power generation efficiency. The pontoon can help to mitigate this movement. The mooring system can further prevent the movement of the wave energy device. This invention uses the braceless structure, which simplifies the construction process and reduce the fatigue issues for the braces. Compared with the traditional three columns semi-submersible wind turbine, this invention enlarges the water plane area. The moment of inertia for hydrostatic stability is enhanced, and the stability of the floating foundation is improved.
Expandable power marine hydrokinetic turbines, pumps, compressors and transmissions
A marine hydrokinetic electric power or wind power generator may have three modules: a harnessing module, a controlling module, and a generating module. The harnessing module may have one of a propeller and a waterwheel for receiving wind or water energy. The controlling module may have a gearbox comprising gears for matching the expected wind or water generating power to an output power, a control motor, and a three variable gear assembly. The three variables are a variable input, a constant output and a constant speed control motor input variable. The variable input is received from the harnessing module and the constant output is delivered to an electricity generator. A generating module (generator) generates output power which may be a multiple of ten times the power rating of the controlling module (the constant speed control motor).
Three-dimensional (3D) flow floating power generator
A floating electrical power generator having a three-dimensional (3D) flow passageway configured for increasing the water flow on the paddle wheel to increase the power output.
Water powered motor for producing useful work
A water driven power generating system has a frame with a waterwheel carried within the frame in an upright manner having a plurality of water receiving elements for turning the waterwheel. A water discharge manifold is used to discharge water from a supply tank onto the water receiving elements. The water supply tank is supplied with water from an adjacent water reservoir, such as a stock tank. After passing over the water receiving elements of the water wheel, the discharge water is allowed to flow back to the water reservoir by gravity. The water used in the system is pumped from the reservoir to the supply tank by a truck mounted pump which is powered by the power take-off of the truck.
Concentric wing turbines
A harnessing module for harnessing renewable wind and water energy has opposing concentric wings for rotation about a turbine shaft having a hub having a wing support shaft for supporting each wing of at least one pair of opposing concentric wings for use in generating renewable electrical energy. Each concentric wing of the opposing concentric wings may have a circular leading edge or a curved leading edge for facing one of air and water flow. Hence, the opposing concentric wings rotate about the turbine shaft in-line with a horizontal flow of air or water such that the turbine shaft faces a flow direction of the air or water and forms a harnessing module for generating electricity from either the wind or water flow.
THREE-DIMENSIONAL (3D) FLOW FLOATING POWER GENERATOR
A floating electrical power generator having a three-dimensional (3D) flow passageway configured for increasing the water flow on the paddle wheel to increase the power output.
TOWER FOR HYDROPOWER
The present invention teaches a tower for hydropower, comprising a main structure comprising an outflow tank at a top end and a collection tank at a bottom end of the main structure; a transmission device configured in the main structure; a plurality of water basins configured on the transmission device;
and a generator device is coupled to the transmission device. Water is introduced into an outflow tank, and then into water basins so that the water basins are pulled downward by gravity so as to convert potential energy into kinetic energy that drives a transmission device and a generator device to produce electrical energy. Through this simple tower, a limited amount of water is used for electricity generation of enhanced efficiency, with fast initiation and low operating reserve.
Hydro electric power generation system
A hydro-electric power generation system that converts falling water energy into rotational energy that is used to generate electricity. The mechanical portion of the device including a rotating platform with a track positioned thereon with angled portions that allow water-filled buckets to move downward thereby rotating the platform. Alternate buckets filled and then emptied causing continual rotation of the platform as long as a water source continues to provide a stream of water to the device.
