A fluid flow actuated tool including a housing, a tool and an actuating mechanism. The housing includes a housing interior. The housing interior receives a flow of fluid. The actuating mechanism includes a fluid wheel structure. The fluid wheel structure is connected to the tool. At least a portion of the fluid wheel structure is arranged in the flow of fluid for rotating the fluid wheel structure. The tool is actuated based on rotation of the fluid wheel structure.

In one aspect, a device comprises a means for generating an aerostatic force exclusive of a buoyancy force acting on the device, wherein the aerostatic force acting on the device is a significant portion of a total force acting on the device due to the aerostatic force exclusive of a buoyancy force, a reaction force, and a buoyancy force. In another aspect, a device includes a cavity with a first internal pressure of a first fluid, and a plurality of conduits extending from the cavity to an environment outside of the device with a second pressure different from the first pressure, wherein fluid flows through the plurality of conduits, and an aerostatic force exclusive of a buoyancy force acting on the device is greater than a reaction force acting on the device due to the fluid flow or is a substantial portion of the total force acting on the device.

Fluid-operated dynamoelectric converters for medical or dental devices are described. The dynamoelectric converters have: a fluid line which is designed in one piece with an outer sleeve of the dynamoelectric converter and protrudes at its end which faces away from the dynamoelectric converter beyond a connecting end of the medical or dental device; a fluid-operated impeller which is designed in one piece with a rotor sleeve receiving the magnetic element; a one-piece, sleeve-shaped magnetic return element which surrounds the rotor and the electric winding of the stator and has a magnetically conductive material.

Fluid-operated dynamoelectric converters for medical or dental devices are described.
