Variable displacement pump
Disclosed is a pump having adjustable conveying volumes, in particular a vane, roller-cell or pendulum-slide pump, comprising a rotation assembly, a lifting ring and a rotationally driven rotor with extendable and retractable vanes, rollers or pendulum sliders that are guided in slots.
Motor-driven compressor
Provided is a motor-driven compressor capable of realizing reduction in manufacturing costs. A compression mechanism of the motor-driven compressor according to the present invention includes a rotor rotatable by a rotation shaft and provided with a plurality of vane grooves, a plurality of vanes disposed advanceably and retractably in the respective vane grooves, a cup member formed into a bottomed cylindrical shape and enclosing the rotor, and a side plate closing an opening of the cup member The contour of the compressor is formed by a first housing and a second housing, and a suction pressure region in the first housing is hermetically closed from outside at a position where the first housing and the second housing are joined together.
Combined pump and energy recovery turbine
The combined pump and energy recovery turbine includes at least one fluid flow pressurizing a sliding vane pump and a sliding vane energy recovery turbine that recovers energy from a second fluid flow, such as the brine discharge from an RO seawater desalination system. A cylindrical rotor has two sliding vanes in respective slots, the rotor being concentrically disposed within an oval-shaped enclosure defining two mirror image crescent-shaped chambers, each chamber having inlet and outlet passageways. The first chamber pressurizes the first fluid flow, and the second chamber functions as a second outflow-driven energy recovery turbine, thus enabling the single rotor device to operate as a pressurizing pump on the first fluid flow, and second outflow-driven energy recovery turbine recovering energy from the pressure drop in the second fluid flow.
Vacuum pump with longitudinal and annular seals
A multi-stage vacuum pump may include first and second half-shell components defining a plurality of pumping chambers and for assembly together along respective longitudinal extending faces; first and second end stator components for assembly at respective longitudinal seals for sealing between the first and second half-shell stator components when assembled together at the longitudinally extending faces; and annular seals for sealing between the first and second end stator components and the first and second half-shell stator components when assembled; wherein the longitudinal seals have end portions which abut against the annular seals for sealing therebetween and the first and second half-shell stator components have formations for resisting movement of the end portions away from the annular seals when the end portions are compressed between the first and second half-shell stator components.
