The present invention relates to a smart wearable breast pumping machine including: a suction part attached to a user's breast; a connector connected to the suction part to introduce breast milk pumped by means of a breast pumping pressure and coupled to a breast milk container; and a breast pumping part coupled to the suction part to accommodate the connector and having a breast pump adapted to apply the breast pumping pressure to the suction part and a controller adapted to control operations of the breast pump by means of control commands.
CANISTER, SUCTION APPARATUS AND TISSUE EXPANSION APPARATUS COMPRISING SAME
The present invention relates to a canister, a suction apparatus and a tissue expansion apparatus comprising same, and provides, according to one aspect of the present invention, a suction apparatus comprising: a housing having an inlet and an outlet; a pump disposed in the housing and suctioning air flowing in via the inlet; a first flow line for connecting the inlet and an inflow port of the pump; a second flow line for connecting an outflow port of the pump and outside air; a control valve disposed in the housing and provided with a first port connected to the first flow line, and a second port connected to the second flow line; a battery disposed in the housing and supplying power to the pump; and a control unit for controlling the pump and the control valve.
BABY MOUTH SIMULATOR
The invention relates to a baby mouth simulator for the female breast, comprising a receiving space for the lactated milk. The baby mouth simulator further comprises a milking sleeve, by means of which a manual milking pressure causing a lactation can be carried out to the nipple and the adjoining regions. The aim of the baby mouth simulator is to improve the effectivity of the method of a manual generation of a lactation of the female breast. This aim is achieved in that the milking sleeve is designed as a dual sleeve, wherein an inner sealing sleeve, which seals the receiving space with respect to the areola when used as intended, and a fixing sleeve, which mechanically fixes the baby mouth simulator on the breast when used as intended, is provided, and the receiving space is designed as a vacuum space.
Biopsy spacer device and method of operation
A breast cavity spacer device, a kit for performing a biopsy and a method of performing a biopsy, such as for use with a percutaneous lumpectomy, is provided. The breast cavity spacer device includes a catheter. A self-sealing balloon member is removably and fluidly coupled on one end of the catheter. An umbrella valve is coupled to the catheter adjacent the balloon member, the umbrella valve being configured to fluid flow into the balloon in response to fluid flow from an end of the catheter opposite the balloon and prevent fluid flow from the balloon when fluid flow from the end of the catheter is stopped.
Breast pump kit
Embodiments of a breast pump kit are disclosed herein. The breast pump kit can include one or more of a breast pump shield and a breast pump milk bag. According to various embodiments, the breast pump shield can include a body portion that has a breast engagement portion that can receive at least a portion of a breast of a user. The breast pump shield also can include a suction chamber located in proximity to the breast engagement portion. Milk can pass into the suction chamber and into the breast pump milk bag. A one-way valve can prevent reverse flow of fluids from the breast pump milk bag into the breast pump shield. The breast pump kit also can include a cover that can seal the breast pump shield, if desired.
RADIATION DERMATITIS PREVENTION APPARATUS AND METHOD
A radiation dermatitis prevention apparatus includes: a pack (10), including: a pocket (12) including a face panel (16) and a back panel (18), wherein the panels (16, 18) are secured to each other along their respective peripheries in such a way as to define an opening (20), wherein the face panel (16) is constructed from a material suitable for contact with a patients skin and which readily permits fluid to flow through its thickness; and an insert (14) sized to fit in the opening (20) and made of a material which is suitable for holding and releasing a radiation cream in viscous fluid form.
Dosing apparatus
A doser including one or more cartridges for holding one or more products. The cartridge has a body defining a cavity for holding the products, a nozzle disposed on the body and connected to the cavity for dispensing the product from the cavity, and a piston arranged to move within the cavity to propel the product from the cavity into the nozzle. The cartridge also has a cap removably coupled to the cartridge for protecting the nozzle. Lastly, the doser has a dispenser for holding the cartridge or cartridges which actuates the piston, and removes the cap from the cartridge, so that the product is dispensed from the cartridge.
DEVICE FOR REMOVAL OF IMPLANTS AND ASSOCIATED METHOD OF USE
An implant removal device for removal of ruptured silicone breast implants includes a hollow container having a middle portion disposed between a first end and a second end. The device also has a connector port coupled to the second end that is coupled to a suction device during use. The device also includes a nozzle coupled to the first end that is configured for placement against an incision of a patient for removing a ruptured breast implant from the patient. The positioning of the nozzle on said first end is offset from a longitudinal axis that extends in a direction parallel to the length of the middle portion and within the middle portion. The nozzle opening may include gripping portions for aiding in gripping the implant shell during the removal process.
BREASTPUMP WITH FUNCTIONAL VACUUM PULSES
A method and system for enhancing expression of milk from breast alveoli includes providing a pump that delivers a pulsed vacuum. The pulsed vacuum may be delivered by a vacuum pump employing a rigid piston that operates as a multi-stroke accumulator pump. In an embodiment, a piston head of the rigid piston undergoes a non-linear motion relative to a sidewall of a cylinder of the pump, resulting in an oscillatory impulse on the interior of the vacuum chamber in the cylinder. The vacuum pulse frequency of the pump is applied over a cyclical vacuum frequency that would otherwise be applied had the piston head only moved up and down while maintaining a perpendicular relationship to the sidewall of the cylinder.
SUPER-ABSORBENT, REDUCED-PRESSURE WOUND DRESSING AND SYSTEMS
A super-absorbent dressing assembly for use with a reduced-pressure wound treatment system includes a breathable, fluid restricted dry layer for placement against a wound, a super-absorbent layer, and a non-breathable layer, and a drape extending over the non-breathable layer. A reduced-pressure interface is available to fluidly couple the super-absorbent layer to a reduced-pressure subsystem. The super-absorbent dressing assembly preferably supplies a compressive force when placed under reduced pressure. A reduced-pressure treatment system uses a super-absorbent bolster to treat wounds, e.g., linear wounds.
