SUPPLEMENTS AND COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING AMINO ACIDS AND IGF-1 AND METHODS OF USE
Provided herein are supplements that include free amino acids L-glutamine or a salt thereof, L-leucine or a salt thereof, nd L-arginine or a salt thereof, and active IGF-1. The L-glutamine or salt thereof, L-leucine or salt thereof, and L-arginine or salt thereof can be present at a ratio of approximately 3:1:1. Also provided are compositions that include the supplement, such as a food product. The disclosure also includes, but is not limited to, methods for using the supplements, including improving the performance of an animal, improving a processing factor of an animal, or increasing intestinal health of an animal, where the method includes administering to the animal a food product that has the supplement.
READY-TO-USE FLY NEONATE LARVAE WITH EXTENDED SHELF-LIFE AND METHODS OF PRODUCING SAME
The present invention provides compositions and methods for inducing suspended animation in neonate larvae of beneficial fly, particularly larvae of the Black soldier fly. During the suspended animation, the larvae show extended shelf-life and improved shipment durability. The suspended animation is reversible, and upon exposure to standard rearing conditions the larvae reach comparable maturity to corresponding non-suspended larvae.
Bacillus microbial terroir for pathogen control in swine
Disclosed are methods of administering one or more Bacillus subtilis strains to swine. The Bacillus subtilis strains that are administered include 747 (NRRL B-67257), 1104 (NRRL B-67258), 1541 (NRRL B-67260), 1781 (NRRL B-67259), 2018 (NRRL B-67261), and BS1999 (NRRL B-67318). The Bacillus strains improve bacterial homeostasis in the gastrointestinal tract by inhibiting bacterial pathogens such as E. coli, Clostridium, Salmonella, and Streptococcus. Administering the Bacillus strains also improves performance such as weight gain and feed conversion. Useful combinations of Bacillus strains and methods of using one or more Bacillus strains are also provided.

METHODS OF IMPROVING HEALTH OF YOUNG RUMINANTS
A method of altering the composition of the microbiome of an adult ruminant is disclosed. The method comprises administering to the ruminant when it is the newborn stage of life, a composition which alters the amount of bacteria of the Akkermansia genus in the microbiome of the newborn ruminant, thereby altering the composition of the microbiome of the adult ruminant.
COMPOUND NUTRIENT CAPABLE OF REPAIRING DAMAGED INTESTINES OF PIGELETS AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
Disclosed provides a compound nutrient capable of repairing damaged intestinal tract of piglets and application thereof. The compound nutrient comprises the following components in weight percentage: organic acid 30-50%, amino acid 20-30%, enzyme preparation 8-15%, Bacillus subtilis 5-15%, mineral element 4-6%, glucose 5-20%. The enzyme preparation includes amylase, lipase and protease, and the weight ratio of amylase, lipase and protease is 1-2:1:1-2. The compound nutrient can repair the intestinal health of piglets with diarrhea, reduce the rate of diarrhea, and improve the growth performance.

PREBIOTIC NEUTRACEUTICAL COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF TREATMENT USING THE SAME
Methods for treatment and compositions are provided for increasing the health of humans, livestock, and companion animals. More particularly, dietary supplements (also referred to as PPA (prebiotic, probiotic, antibodies) compositions) for treating humans, livestock, and companion animals, and methods for making and using them for treatment of various conditions are disclosed.
ANIMAL FEED SUPPLEMENT AND METHOD
A premix is disclosed. The premix includes a nitrate compound and salts thereof in the amount of greater than about 50% by weight of the premix. The premix also includes vitamins and trace minerals. The premix is formulated for use in at least one of a gestation or lactation phase of an animal and in an amount of less than about five percent by weight (5.0 wt %) inclusion per metric ton of the premix. A supplement for an animal feed for feeding during at least one of an animal's gestation phase and/or lactation phase is also disclosed. A method for feeding an animal is also disclosed.
