PUMP FOR DISPENSING MEASURED LIQUIDS IN A CONSISTENT PROPORTIONAL AMOUNT
A pump that dispenses measured liquids in a consistent proportional amount includes a plurality of cylinders, a plunger associated with each cylinder and a lever operatively connected to each plunger. Each of the cylinders is connected to a container having a chemical by an input tube. Each cylinder is also connected to a single outlet tube via a plurality of outlet tubes. The cylinders are sized and positioned to dispense a consistent proportional mixture regardless of the length of stroke of the handle.
ELECTRICALLY OPERATED PUMP FOR A PLURAL COMPONENT SPRAY SYSTEM
An electrically operated pumping assembly for a plural component spray system includes an electric motor (14) having a stator (88) and a rotor (90). The rotor is disposed coaxially with first and second pumps (26a, 26b) and is configured to cause pumping by each of the first and second pumps. The first and second pumps are configured to pump different component materials to an applicator (34) for forming a plural component spray material. A drive mechanism (86) is disposed between and connected to each of the rotor and the fluid displacement members (70a, 70b) of the first and second pumps. The drive mechanism receives a rotational output from the rotor and provides a linear input to the first and second pumps to cause pumping.

System and method for generating a drive signal
A method and computer program product for defining a PWM drive signal having a defined voltage potential. The PWM drive signal has a plurality of “on” portions and a plurality of “off” portions that define a first duty cycle for regulating, at least in part, a flow rate of a pump assembly. At least a portion of the “on” portions of the PWM drive signal are pulse width modulated to define a second duty cycle for the at least a portion of the “on” portions of the PWM drive signal. The second duty cycle regulates, at least in part, the percentage of the defined voltage potential applied to the pump assembly.
