METHODS AND DEVICES FOR CONTROLLED DELIVERY
20250025332 · 2025-01-23 ·

Disclosed herein are exemplary medical devices for controlled delivery of material compositions, particularly occlusive, therapeutic, or diagnostic compositions. Medical devices disclosed herein comprise components for maintaining a stationary position, for providing catheters at a precise step in a method, for inflating or deflating a balloon, if present, and for providing a composition to a target site.

POST CERVICAL ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION CATHETER

A post-cervical insemination catheter assembly including a cannula; a guide catheter slideably positioned about said cannula; and, a tip element securely connected to a distal end of said cannula. The tip element is configured to receive fluid from the cannula and dispense the fluid from a tip element outlet end. The tip element outlet end remains closed when loading the cannula through a vaginal canal and when traversing a cervix of the animal and then automatically opens when sufficient fluid pressure in the tip element is applied, thus enhancing injection of fluid to the utero-tubal junction, bio-secure delivery of fluids from any attached container, and a much safer less invasive experience for the recipient then prior post-cervical artificial insemination (PCAI) catheter assemblies.

UTEROTUBAL IRRIGATION TECHNIQUE AND DEVICE
20170173257 · 2017-06-22 ·

An uterotubal irrigation system and process for implanting hysterosalpingogram (HSG) procedures is provided. The uterotubal irrigation system serially irrigates and evacuates fluid in the uterus and into the Fallopian tubes, for the collection of cells from the Fallopian tubes. The uterotubal irrigation system has a partially flexible cannula for introduction through the cervical os into the uterine cavity. The cannula has an enlarged external plug proximal to the distal tip of the cannula, to occlude the os and permit infusion of fluid into the uterus. The cannula has an internal tube for irrigation, and an external sheath with multiple slits near the distal end of the cannula. An uterotubal irrigation system is provided that includes a catheter with two opposing outlet openings on a distal tip of the catheter that injects an irrigation fluid in two opposing jets that splay out laterally toward the openings of a patient's Fallopian tubes.

Apparatus and method for everting catheter for IUD delivery and placement in the uterine cavity

An everting balloon system is disclosed that can be used for the placement of an IUD within the uterine cavity of a female patient. The everting balloon system with IUD can be used to access a uterine cavity at specific locations in the fundus. A one-handed IUD delivery system for placement with an everting catheter is disclosed. An IUD loading system for placement within an everting catheter is disclosed. The everting catheter with an IUD can simplify the process of IUD placement within the uterine cavity.

Disclosed herein are sonographic devices and methods of making and delivering a visualizable contrast medium composition, and methods for visualizing, diagnosing and treating structures in a subject.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR TRANS-CERVICAL DELIVERY OF AGENTS
20260021282 · 2026-01-22 ·

Methods and systems are provided for trans-cervical delivery of agents for various purposes, including contraception and tubal patency evaluation. The trans-cervical delivery system comprises at least one port: a tubular shaft coupled to the port, the tubular shaft including at least one hollow channel traversing an interior length of the tubular shaft; and an agent delivery end coupled to the tubular shaft, the agent delivery end including at least one flexible catheter and a plug. The trans-cervical delivery system of the present disclosure integrates a pre-formed wire frame into the agent delivery end that enables self-positioning of the catheter and assists in gaining precise access to the cornual regions of a uterus by an operator. In one example, the trans-cervical delivery system may be utilized for selective delivery of a foam agent to fallopian tubes non-surgically.
