Gas lift compressor system and method for supplying compressed gas to multiple wells
11802556 · 2023-10-31 · ·

A high pressure gas lift compressor system and method of using the system for supplying compressed gas to multiple wells are provided. The system includes a compressor having multiple compressor cylinders. Each cylinder has its own gas inlet line and dedicated gas outlet line that supplies compressed gas from that cylinder directly to a wellbore to provide artificial gas lift. Each cylinder also has its own control valve upstream of the cylinder to control the suction pressure to the cylinder. A desired gas flow rate to each well may be input, and the control valve is adjusted accordingly to achieve the flow rate. By inputting a flow rate for each separate cylinder, the flow rate to each well may be independently controlled.

A leaf spring for a centrifugal clutch of a transport refrigeration unit, and a centrifugal clutch incorporating the leaf spring are provided. The centrifugal clutch includes a drum, a hub, at least two friction pads, and at least one leaf spring between each respective friction pad. The leaf spring includes a frame and an indicator tab. The indicator tab of the leaf spring is configured to indicate when at least one friction pad of the centrifugal clutch is in need of replacement. This indication may be in the form of an audible sound generated when the indicator tab engages the internally facing surface of the drum. The indicator tab may be configured to only be able to engage the internally facing surface of the drum when the friction material of the friction pad has a thickness suggesting it is worn.

Electrified air system for use with central tire inflation system

A vehicle having one or more inflatable wheels, the vehicle including an internal combustion engine including a cylinder, a tire inflation system in fluid communication with and configured to selectively direct compressed air into at least one wheel of the one or more inflatable wheels, a compressor assembly having an outlet, where the compressor assembly is operable in a first mode, in which the outlet is in fluid communication with the cylinder of the internal combustion engine, and a second mode, in which the outlet is in fluid communication with the tire inflation system.

Electrified air system for use with central tire inflation system

A vehicle having one or more pneumatic wheels, the vehicle including an internal combustion engine including a cylinder and an intake manifold in fluid communication with the cylinder, a tire inflation system configured to direct air into at least one of the one or more inflatable wheels, and a compressor assembly configured to supply air at a first pressure higher than atmospheric pressure to both the intake manifold and the tire inflation system.

An air compressor includes a driving device and a vehicle engine. The vehicle engine includes a casing with multiple cylinders and a crank located therein. Each of the cylinders has a piston movably received therein, and each piston has a piston rod which is pivotably connected to the crank. The driving device drives the crank. A cylinder head is mounted to the casing and includes an entrance and an exit. Each of the pistons is moved back-and-forth in the cylinder corresponding thereto by rotation of the crank. Air is sucked into the cylinders via the entrance and is compressed by the pistons. The compressed air is released via the exit.

DUAL AIR COMPRESSOR FOR HYBRID VEHICLES
20210316577 · 2021-10-14 ·

A system for generating air pressure in a hybrid vehicle, comprising an engine-driven air compressor (C1) configured to be selectively operated by an ICE engine, an electrically—driven air compressor (C2) configured to be operated by an electric motor, wherein said electric motor is supplied from the electric network, at least one air reservoir configured to store pressurized air and being configured to be connected directly or indirectly to both an outlet of the engine-driven air compressor (C1) and an outlet of the electrically-driven air compressor (C2), at least one electronic control unit (3, 3′) configured to control at least the electrically-driven air compressor (C2) according at least to a selected drive mode of the vehicle, wherein the electrically-driven air compressor (C2) is downsized compared to the engine-driven compressor (C1), and corresponding control methods.

Compressor

A compressor that includes a casing, a compression mechanism provided inside the casing to compress a refrigerant, a rotary shaft transmitting a rotational force to the compression mechanism from a drive source provided outside the casing, a clutch connecting the drive source and the rotary shaft by a magnetic force generated when electric power is applied to the clutch and disconnecting the drive source and the rotary shaft by losing the magnetic force when the electric power applied thereto is cut off, and a rotation measurement means for receiving the magnetic force from the clutch to measure a change in magnetic flux according to the rotation of the rotary shaft and measure a rotational speed of the rotary shaft. Thus, it is possible to measure the rotational speed of the rotary shaft without including a permanent magnet.

METHOD OF MOUNTING A BEARING TO AN AIR COMPRESSOR, AND AIR COMPRESSOR HAVING A BEARING MOUNTED BY THE METHOD
20210262524 · 2021-08-26 ·

A method of mounting a bearing to an air compressor including a shaft element having a first end defining a central cylindrical recess and a second is disclosed, which includes the steps of: fixing the second end of the shaft element to a center of a gear; inserting the first end of the shaft element through a central hole of a bearing to have an annular step of the shaft element abutted an inner ring of the bearing; and hitting the first end of the shaft element by a striking tool with a central pin to form an outwardly extending rim on the first end of the shaft element. With the method, the bearing can be firmly fixed between the outwardly extending rim and the annular step of the shaft element.
