DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR TRAINING PELVIC FLOOR MUSCLES
The present invention relates to intravaginal devices, systems including the devices, and methods of using the devices to train an individual in the performance of exercises (e.g., pelvic floor lifts (PFLs) and pelvic floor relaxations (PFRs)) that strengthen the individual's pelvic floor muscles in order to treat or prevent pelvic floor disorders (e.g., pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence) and their accompanying symptoms.
Devices and systems for intraluminal local drug delivery
Devices, systems for localized delivery of a chemotherapy, hormonal therapy or targeted drug/biologic therapy to a target tissue area of an internal body organ of a patient. A catheter 10 forms a sealed treatment chamber in a natural lumen extending through the target tissue area. Air is purged from the chamber, which is then filled with a liquid drug solution for an adequate treatment session time, solution volume and drug concentration to saturate the target tissue area, thereby providing the treatment. The liquid drug solution may be circulated or recirculated through the chamber or maintained stationary therewithin. The drug may saturate the target tissue area and pass therethrough into the lymphatic system or interstitial space, which may serve as a reservoir of the drug for continued therapeutic treatment after withdrawal of the catheter. The chamber is evacuated at the end of the treatment session.
Flow directing medicinal applicator
Certain embodiments of a medicinal applicator can comprise a base, a medicinal cream receiving port in the base, and a shaft with a shaft axis that is defined extending down the center of the shaft from the base and terminating at an applicator tip. There is at least one longitudinal outlet port located along a portion of the shaft. A medicinal cream passageway is in communication with the medicinal cream receiving port and the longitudinal outlet port via a funneled chamber. The medicinal cream passageway exits into the funneled chamber partway along the length of the longitudinal outlet port via a passageway exit port. A stop plate that extends essentially radially from the base delineates the base from the shaft.
SYSTEM FOR PREPARING THE GENITAL TRACT OF A WOMAN BEFORE A CHILDBIRTH
A system for preparing the genital tract of a woman prior to childbirth, the system including:an inflatable body intended to be placed in the genital tract of the woman, the inflatable body comprising a wall having a first, open end intended to allow air to enter the inflatable body or leave the inflatable body, and a second, closed end opposite the first end,an inflating device serving to inflate the inflatable body and connected fluidically to the first, open end of the inflatable body by a conduit;a measuring device configured to measure a dimension of the inflatable body,a control device configured to collect the measurement data from the measuring device.
Applicator for delivery of a product therethrough
The present disclosure provides applicators adapted to or configured to deliver a product therefrom. The applicators can be particularly designed for delivery to certain body parts of the human body, such as to the vaginal area. The applicator can comprise a housing formed of a substantially continuous wall extending along a longitudinal housing axis between a base end and an application end, the substantially continuous wall defining: a base segment extending from the base end toward the applicator end; a delivery segment extending from the applicator end toward the base end; and a compression segment interconnecting the base segment and the delivery segment. The housing can define a substantially hollow interior configured for retaining a product for delivery through the delivery segment.
DRAINAGE TUBE INTRODUCER
The present invention provides a drainage tube introducer wherein while a drainage tube is fitted over an introducing end portion (42) protruding through a pin hole (32) and is introduced through an incision portion (4) into an infected portion (2) in cooperation with the introducing end portion (42), a stop block (52) is pressed by pushing a sleeve (70) frontward, which bends an operating lever (50) made of an elastic material to release the stop block (52) from a stop hole (38). Accordingly, a pin (40) is moved rearward by an elastic member (60) to withdraw the introducing end portion (42) protruding through the pin hole and to separate the drainage tube introduced into the infected portion (2) from the introducing end portion (42).
PELVIC TISSUE VISCOELASTIC STRETCHING DEVICE
The pelvic tissue viscoelastic stretching device before childbirth consists of, on the one hand, a flexible basic body (1) in the form of an inverted quadrangular pyramidal structure extending in a support and positioning tab (4) and comprising an upper face (5) designed to be positioned beneath the uterus and a smaller lower face (6) designed to be positioned near the perineum, connected by an inactive front face (7) and by three active stretching faces, that is a posterior lower face (8) and two lateral faces (9) located on either side of it, and on the other, by three balloons (2, 3) respectively attached to the stretching faces (8, 9) of the basic body (1) and which can be inflated, in particular with physiological serum, to ensure posterior pressing against the sacrum and lateral pressing on the lifting muscles, up to an overall volume corresponding essentially to the head of a baby on birth.
DEVICE, METHOD, AND SYSTEM FOR PELVIC FLOOR REHABILITATION
Provided herein are system, devices, and methods for a pelvic floor rehabilitation device. The rehabilitation device includes a handle for holding and manipulating the pelvic floor rehabilitation device, a controller to receive instructions and to control operation of the pelvic floor rehabilitation device, a shaft extending from the handle, wherein at least part of the shaft dilates based on input from the controller, at least one sensor for collecting data during operation of the pelvic floor rehabilitation device, and a lubrication system operable to introduce a substance into the vagina.
Vaginal drug delivery device and vaginal diagnostic device
The present invention is related to a vaginal drug delivery device and to a vaginal diagnostic device that comprises a first and second rigid member, wherein the first and/or second rigid member comprises a reservoir holding a medicament to be delivered, an opening, and a pump for pumping said medicament out of said opening, and/or wherein the first rigid member and/or second rigid member comprises a diagnostic device for performing an intravaginal diagnosis or measurement therefor. The device further comprises a first flexible member and flexible part, wherein at least one of the first flexible member and the flexible part is at least partially elastic having an elasticity such that the device can be squeezed from an extended shape to a collapsed shape. The device is pre-biased to assume the extended shape when little to no external force is being applied thereto. Furthermore, the device assumes a shape substantially corresponding to the extended shape when the device is inserted with the squeezed rigid member first, so that these naturally unfold in the formix posterior vaginae.
