MANUALLY OPERATED PUMP ASSEMBLY
A manually operated pump exhibiting numerous improvement over existing such pumps is described. The pump can include a cylinder that is removeably mounted to a molded valve box of unitary construction. The valve box can feature a valve plate covering a valve chamber and housing an inlet valve and an outlet valve. In some instances, the pump includes a molded piston of unitary construction to which a pair of opposing piston cups is mounted. In some cases, the pump includes a filler cap forming an inlet adapted to deliver a priming fluid into the cylinder. In some cases, the pump includes a stopper cap adapted to prevent a pump shaft from being fully pulled out of the cylinder.
ALTERNATIVE COMPRESSOR HEAD ARRANGEMENT
The present invention reveals an alternative compressor head arrangement capable of eliminating the occurrence of friction wear in the bending areas of the operation valves. For this, an interface blade arranged between the valve blade and the stop blade is used, so that the interface between the static end of the operation valve of the valve blade and the valve stop of the stop blade is fully carried out by the interface blade.
PORTABLE PUMP
A reciprocating air compressor arrangement includes a crank that drives a connecting rod and a piston within a cylinder. The connecting rod has a first end and a second end. The first end of the connecting rod is connected to the crank and the second end of the connecting rod is connected to the piston, with the crank provided to actuate the piston in a reciprocating motion within and relative to the cylinder so as to compress air within the cylinder. The reciprocating air compressor arrangement has a one-way flapper inlet valve allowing air to enter the cylinder, and a one-way outlet valve allowing compressed air to exit the cylinder. The inlet valve is biased to a partially open position.
COMPRESSOR
A compressor includes: a case, a compression unit that is provided inside the case and that includes a cylinder and a piston configured to reciprocate inside the cylinder to compress refrigerant, a driving unit that includes a stator disposed inside the case and a plurality of permanent magnets configured to reciprocate with respect to the stator and that is configured to provide a driving force to the compression unit, and a resonator that is configured to reduce noises generated while the compression unit is operated, that is disposed between the compression unit and an inner surface of the case facing the compression unit in an axial direction, and that is spaced apart from the compression unit.

Pneumatic surge suppressor
A surge suppressor includes a boost mechanism configured to balance pressures between a working fluid and a process fluid. The boost mechanism includes a boost member that is acted on by a charge pressure of the working fluid. A shaft extends from the boost member to a pressure control member bounding the process fluid and acting on the process fluid. The boost member can have a larger effective area than the pressure control member to provide a pressure multiplication between the charge pressure and the process fluid pressure. In addition, pressure control valves are mounted to an air housing and actuated open by the boost mechanism. Actuating one of the pressure control valves open increases the charge pressure. Actuating the other pressure control valve open decreases the charge pressure.
METHOD FOR IDENTIFYING DAMAGE ON A COMPRESSOR
Described herein is a method for identifying damage on a compressor having an intake side and a discharge side, including the following steps: (i) detecting measurement data of the intake pressure (p1) and intake temperature (T1) measurement variables on the intake side, as well as end pressure (p2) and end temperature (T2) on the discharge side; (ii) determining a calculated end temperature (T2b), a calculated intake temperature (T1b), a calculated end pressure (p2b) or a calculated intake pressure (p1b) as a target variable, representing a good operating state of the compressor, as a function of the measurement data of max. three of the measurement variables (p1, T1, p2, T2); (iii) determining a comparison variable from at least one of the measurement variables (p1, T1, p2, T2) not used in step (ii); and (iv) comparing the comparison variable and the target variable as a gauge of damage to the compressor.
VALVE PLATE HAVING VALVE LAMELLAE
A valve plate for installation in a reciprocating compressor includes a carrier region and a valve region. The valve region has a movable valve lamella having a valve seat for sealing passage channels for a controlled medium in a valve carrier plate. The valve region engages the carrier region of the valve plate via webs so that the valve lamella is fixed relative to the carrier region. The valve region has a web region, which is fixed by the webs relative to the carrier region, and the valve lamella is flexibly attached to the web region. A compressor with a valve plate is also provided.
HYDRAULIC PUMP
A pump may generally include a frame including a reservoir. The reservoir stores a hydraulic fluid. The pump may also include a motor assembly supported by the frame and a pump assembly operably driven by the motor assembly. The pump assembly is in fluid communication with the reservoir and configured to dispense the hydraulic fluid out of the frame. The pump assembly includes a first piston and a second piston, wherein the first piston dispenses hydraulic fluid out of the frame between a first pressure and a second pressure greater than the first pressure, and the second piston dispenses hydraulic fluid out of the frame between the first pressure and a third pressure, the third pressure being greater than the second pressure.
Pump
A pump includes a vibrating plate, a flow path forming member, a pump chamber, and a film valve. The vibrating plate is provided with a piezoelectric element, vibrates due to distortion of the piezoelectric element, and has a gap on an outer periphery. The flow path forming member is disposed so as to face the vibrating plate, and has a hole in a portion facing the vibrating plate. The pump chamber is surrounded by the vibrating plate and the flow path forming member, and has a central space communicating with the hole and an outer edge space communicating with the gap. The film valve is disposed in the pump chamber. The film valve is in contact with the vibrating plate and the flow path forming member when a pressure in the central space is lower than a pressure in the outer edge space.
