A centrifugal separation type oil separator includes an oil separator body having a cylindrical body portion, and a bent pipe provided on an outer peripheral side of the body portion to surround the body portion in a circumferential direction, to introduce a fluid containing an oil into the oil separator body. The bent pipe includes an outer wall portion extending in the circumferential direction of the body portion and expanding radially outward from the body portion, and an inner wall portion extending along the outer wall portion and blocking an open part of the outer wall portion. The outer wall portion and the inner wall portion are formed by different members. An upper side of the body portion is open. The oil separator body has an upper cover blocking an open portion of the body portion. The inner wall portion and the upper cover are formed by an integral member.

An electromagnetic actuator includes a stator assembly with a driving coil that is wound about the longitudinal axis and that is enclosed within a toroidal back iron except for a coaxial cylindrical gap in a radially outward facing surface. A movable assembly connected to the piston includes two movable permanent magnets separated by a ferromagnetic spacer radially exterior to the stator assembly. The movable magnets are magnetized parallel to the longitudinal axis and opposite to one another such that an alternating electrical current in the driving coil causes the movable assembly to parallel to the longitudinal axis to periodically drive the piston into and out of the compression chamber.

The flange member includes a first hole communicating with the second space to allow the low-pressure region to communicate with the compression space, the muffler member includes a second hole which forms part of a refrigerant flow path, and at least one of the flange member and the muffler member includes a third hole which forms part of an oil flow path.

In an implementation, a hydraulic assembly comprising an end section of a hydraulic hose formed from a volume of material, the end section having a first outer diameter and an open end, is formed by molding a flange in the end section of the hydraulic hose, and threading an annular gasket onto the end section of the hydraulic hose between the flange and the open end of the hydraulic hose, and adjacent to the flange. The flange is formed in the volume of material, and has a second outer diameter greater than the first outer diameter. The molding of the flange may include applying heat to a mold, inserting the open end of the end section of the hydraulic hose into the mold, and thermally deforming a portion of the end section of the hydraulic hose to form the flange.

In an implementation, a hydraulic assembly comprising an end section of a hydraulic hose formed from a volume of material, the end section having a first outer diameter and an open end, is formed by molding a flange in the end section of the hydraulic hose, and threading an annular gasket onto the end section of the hydraulic hose between the flange and the open end of the hydraulic hose, and adjacent to the flange. The flange is formed in the volume of material, and has a second outer diameter greater than the first outer diameter.
