RECOVERY OF WORK FROM A LIQUEFIED GAS USING HYBRID PROCESSING
Disclosed techniques include working fluid exergy recovery using hybrid processing. A supply of working fluid at a first pressure and a first temperature is accessed. The working fluid is compressed. The compressing yields the working fluid at a second pressure. The second pressure is greater than the first pressure. The working fluid at the second pressure and a second temperature is warmed using a first heat exchanger. The second temperature is greater than the first temperature. The working fluid at the second temperature is in a gaseous state. The working fluid is expanded in a gaseous state to a third pressure. The expanding is accomplished using a first liquid piston expander. An engine is driven to recover work from the working fluid in a gaseous state. The engine is powered by liquid from the first liquid piston expander.
Compressor system and filter housing
A compressor system includes a compression module having an inlet for receiving air; and a filter housing in fluid communication with the compression module. The filter housing is constructed to house a filter, the filter having a sealing feature disposed at a first end of the filter and having an engagement feature disposed at a second end of the filter opposite the first end. The filter housing includes a trap door constructed to contact the engagement feature, and constructed to drive the engagement feature in a direction parallel to an axis of the filter toward the sealing feature and urge the sealing feature into sealing engagement with the filter housing.
Facility and method for the treatment by membrane permeation of a gas stream with adjustment of the third-permeate suctioning pressure
Facility and method for membrane permeation treatment of a feed gas stream containing at least methane and carbon dioxide including first, second, and third membrane separation units each including at least one membrane that is more permeable to carbon dioxide than to methane, wherein a permeate from the first membrane separation unit is fed to the third membrane separation unit and a retentate from the first membrane separation unit is fed to the second membrane separation unit. A compressor B adjusts the third-permeate suctioning pressure as a function of the feed gas stream pressure and the second retentate methane concentration.

AIR COMPRESSING APPARATUS WITH DRY-AIR INTERNAL-EMISSION TRAP UNIT
Disclosed is an air compressing apparatus with a dry-air internal-emission trap unit, and more specifically, to an air compressing apparatus with a dry-air internal-emission trap unit which solves various problems arising due to venting and improves an on-site environment where compressed air is used by guiding the venting to an inside of a system for compressing air rather than guiding the venting in the system for compressing air to the outside (atmosphere), and which maximizes energy efficiency and obtains a virtuous circle of energy by enabling compressed air that is discarded to be reused.

RECONFIGURABLE MULTI-STAGE GAS COMPRESSOR
Disclosed embodiments include a reconfigurable multi-stage gas compressor having a first-stage compression cylinder, a second-stage compression cylinder, and two stepped cylinders. Each of the stepped cylinders include first and second compression cylinders. The gas flow paths through the stepped cylinders are configured in a user-selectable configuration to be in series or in parallel so that the reconfigurable multi-stage gas compressor functions as one of: a three-stage compressor, as a four-stage compressor, and as a hybrid three/four stage compressor. In first and second configurations, the system generates four stages of compression and outputs 4-stage compressed gas through a single exit port, and through dual exit ports, respectively. In a third configuration, the system outputs hot and cooled 3-stage compressed gas through first and second ports and 4-stage compressed gas through a third port. In a fourth configuration, the system outputs hot and cooled 3-stage compressed gas with no 4-stage compressed gas.
LIQUID COOLING AFTERCOOLER
A scroll device includes a fixed scroll with a first involute and a first cooling chamber; an orbiting scroll with a second involute and a second cooling chamber, the orbiting scroll mounted to the fixed scroll via a mechanical coupling, the orbiting scroll configured to orbit relative to the fixed scroll around an orbital axis; a flexible conduit in fluid communication with the first cooling chamber and the second cooling chamber, the flexible conduit extending around the orbital axis from a first side of the scroll device to a second side of the scroll device; and an integrated aftercooler.
Filter assembly for separating liquid from compressed gas and compressor comprising such filter assembly
A filter assembly including a housing (15) and a filter cartridge (10). The housing has a housing inlet (16) and a housing outlet (17). The filter cartridge (10) has a filter inlet (11) fluidly connected to the housing inlet (16) and a filter element (12) between a top cap (18) and a bottom cap (19). The top cap (18) and the bottom cap (19) create a circular guiding system. The bottom cap (19) has a first part (19a) that receives the filter element (12) and a second part (19b) that is connected with a mating surface (20) of the housing. The second part has a first circular section (21a) and a second section (21b) and the first section has another shape than the second section (21b), such that the bottom cap (19) cannot rotate in relation to the mating surface.
