Concentrated protein compositions and methods of their making and use
This disclosure provides a highly concentrated protein composition and the processes of making the same. The compositions are shelf-stable, easy to use and have excellent nutritional values as compared to other protein products. The compositions may be prepared from animal sources, such as chickens or turkeys.
Non-medicinal food additive for animals, supplemented food containing same and method for improving animal growth
This invention relates to a non-medical food additive that is an animal growth promoter containing 99% pure zeolite partially or totally exchanged with a C.sup.m+ cation (in other words a synthetic zeolite) with the general formula I below:

METHOD FOR PROVIDING A SOURCE OF CONSUMMABLE AND DIGESTIBLE WATER THAT DOES NOT DRY OUT UNDER HEAT
Method for providing a bird, reptile or mammal, for its consumption, with a source of water that does not dry out under prolonged heating conditions by providing an exogenous deep eutectic solvent of water and two or more primary metabolites. In particular, a method for strengthening newly hatched birds during their incubation by providing the birds, for their consumption during their incubation, with the exogenous deep eutectic solvent.
INACTIVATION OF AFRICAN SWINE FEVER VIRUS USING A FEED ADDITIVE
African swine fever virus (ASFV) is a very large complex DNA virus that is rapidly spreading through the largest pork producing country in the world, China. ASFV causes high mortality in pigs and is currently a foreign animal disease to North America and most European countries. There is currently no effective vaccine and the virus is known to be transmitted through the oral route via consumption of contaminated feed. ASFV is capable of surviving in feed and feed ingredients subjected to varying environmental conditions simulating transoceanic shipment. The present invention relates to a feed additive that is effective at mitigating ASFV in cell culture and in feed and feed ingredients.
ANIMAL FEED CONTAINING BLACK SOLDIER FLY LARVAE
A nutritional composition is provided that does not contain soy and contains black soldier fly larvae as the principle protein source. In further embodiments, the described nutritional composition further comprises whole and/or split legume(s), whole seed(s), and optionally dried vegetable(s). In another aspect, a method for feeding a poultry animal is provided, and comprises feeding the described poultry feed composition to the poultry animal.
METHODS FOR ENHANCING METABOLIC HEALTH IN AN ANIMAL
The invention provides compositions and methods for metabolic health in an animal comprising administering a non-ketogenic composition to the animal, wherein the non-ketogenic composition comprises about 5% to about 25% carbohydrates, about 30% to about 60% protein, and about 10% to about 40% fat. Additionally, the composition can have a protein to carbohydrate ratio of at least 2:1.
WILD BIRD TREATMENT COMPOSITION AND METHODS
Compositions, methods of preparing compositions, and methods of treating parasitic nematode infections in wild birds include a fenbendazole premix and a grain formulation. The fenbendazole premix includes fenbendazole, a solvent, a solubilizing agent, and a premix grain carrier. The grain formulation includes a plurality of grains selected from the group consisting of ground corn, soybean meal, whole milo, wheat midds, and rice bran. The fenbendazole premix is integrated within the grain formulation thereby yielding a fenbendazole concentration in the composition of between 80 ppm and 120 ppm. Processes and methods of preparation include mixing the fenbendazole premix and grain formulation in an industrial ribbon mixer, fully integrating the fenbendazole within the grain formulation. Methods of treating include collecting and testing samples, determining a number and location of treatment systems, and charging a feeder with the claimed composition.

BIRD FEED
A particulate dry bird feed includes, in combination forming greater than 50% by mass of the feed, a protein source and an added vegetable oil-based or animal fat or fatty acid that is admixed together with the protein source, and less than 50% by mass grain or grain-derived ingredients. The invention extends to a method of manufacturing a particulate dry bird feed and to a method of feeding a granivore.
