METHODS, APPARATUSES AND SYSTEMS FOR ANALYZING MICROORGANISM STRAINS FROM COMPLEX HETEROGENEOUS COMMUNITIES, PREDICTING AND IDENTIFYING FUNCTION RELATIONSHIPS AND INTERACTIONS THEREOF, AND SELECTING AND SYNTHESIZING MICROBIAL ENSEMBLES BASED THEREON
Methods, apparatuses, and systems the screening, analyzing and selecting microorganisms from complex heterogeneous communities, predicting and identifying functional relationships and interactions thereof, synthesizing microbial ensembles based thereon, and forming and administering endomicrobial feed supplements are disclosed. Methods for identifying and determining the absolute cell count of microorganism types and strains, along identifying the network relationships between active microorganisms and environmental parameters, are also disclosed.
GRAIN WITH INCREASED NICOTIANAMINE
A grain crop may have an increased amount of nicotianamine (NA). The increased NA may correlate with an increased bioavailability of iron in the grain and any product, such as ground flour, resulting from processing of the grain. The increase of NA may be achieved through the expression of the OsNAS2 gene. Further, a grain flour produced from a transformed grain plant may have an increased amount of NA, and thus an increased amount of bio-available iron, as compared to a grain flour produced from a non-transformed grain plant of the same species. The grain flour produced from the transformed grain plant (“biofortified flour”) may be used in food production for feed to animals or humans. Such a feed including the biofortified flour may improve the gut health and/or the feed efficiency of the eater as compared to the gut health for an eater of non-biofortified flour.
COMBINATION, COMPOSITION, AND METHOD OF ADMINISTERING THE COMBINATION OR COMPOSITION TO ANIMALS
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a combination and/or composition for administration to animals. In some embodiments, the combination and/or composition can be administered to treat and/or prevent a disease in animals. In some embodiments, the combination and/or composition can be administered to promote animal health. In some embodiments, the combination comprises a composition comprising Yucca schidigera, Quillaja saponaria, and combinations thereof and a composition comprising an antimicrobial, an antibiotic, an anticoccidial, a vaccine, or combinations thereof. The combinations or compositions disclosed herein can also improve feed conversion rates in animals.

Animal feed
An animal feed product disclosed herein has a feed mixture disposed in a container, where the feed mixture has a plurality of animal feed particles and seed butter coating each of the animal feed particles. A removable cover is coupled to the container over the cavity to encase the feed mixture. A method disclosed herein relates to heating a seed butter to reduce its viscosity. Animal feed particles are translated through a spraying region and each of the animal feed particles are coated with the heated seed butter to form a seed mixture. The seed mixture is deposited in a container defining a cavity and the feed mixture is compressed in the cavity. Other embodiments are described.

COMPOSITIONS FOR GUT HEALTH
Provided herein, inter alia, are compositions of organic acid-producing microorganisms and methods of making and using the same to inhibit pathogenic bacterial populations in the gastrointestinal tracts of an animal and additionally promote improvement of one or more metrics in an animal, such as increased bodyweight gain, decreased feed conversion ratio (FCR), improved gut barrier integrity, reduced mortality, reduced pathogen infection, and reduced pathogen shedding in feces.
Bird feed and in particular poultry feed, comprising synthetic capsaicinoid derivatives and such feed for prophylactic use or treatment of Salmonella infection
The invention relates to bird feed comprising synthetic capsaicinoids for prohylactic use or treatment of salmonella infection.

METHODS OF MODULATING GASTROINTESTINAL METABOLITES
The present disclosure relates to methods of feeding animals by providing feed additives that modulate the gut microbiome to improve the health, nutrition, and growth performance. The present disclosure further relates to methods of modulating metabolites present in the gastrointestinal tract of an animal. Such modulation includes, for example, modulating the level said metabolites.
