Rod rotator assembly for well pumping rod strings
A mechanical rod rotator assembly comprising a mechanical rod rotator and an actuating mechanism for a mechanical pumping rod rotator, wherein the mechanism comprises a connecting arm and a guide member that slidably embraces the pumping rod, in order to allow a pivoting lever that is in connection with said connecting arm, to interact with the internal mechanism of the rod rotator to gradually rotate the pumping rod and thus avoid impartial wear caused by the constant up and down reciprocating movement of the same within the well, being in turn that the mechanism of the invention does not require special tools for its assembly and installation.
MULTI-PLUNGER COORDINATED GAS LIFT LIQUID DRAINAGE SYSTEM AND LIQUID DRAINAGE METHOD THEREOF
A multi-plunger coordinated gas lift liquid drainage system and liquid drainage method thereof, the system operates in a reciprocating manner. A large-section liquid column and a gas column within a tubing is divided into multiple units of liquid columns, plungers and gas columns by a plurality of plungers; the units form a series connection, and the plungers in the tubing move up and down respectively to transfer the liquid load cooperatively. A liquid is drained from a wellbore step by step, and the pressure formed by a small section of liquid column disappears each time a small section of liquid column is drained. The pressure of each stage of gas column thereunder is reduced, and the gas columns are expanded step by step.

Lubricator for bypass plunger
A lubricator for a plunger lift system includes a tubular body, a shift rod housing, a first spring, and a second spring. The shift rod housing disposed in the tubular body and has a chamber. The shift rod has a first portion slidably disposed in the chamber and a second portion projecting from a first end of the shift rod housing. A distal end of the second portion of the shift rod is engageable with a shift valve of a bypass plunger. The first spring disposed in the chamber to absorb an impact force applied to the shift rod by the shift valve. The second spring disposed in the tubular body between a portion of the shift rod housing and a portion of the tubular body to absorb an impact force applied to the shift rod housing by a plunger body of the bypass plunger.

Unibody bypass plunger and valve cage
A bypass plunger combines a unitary or one-piece hollow body-and-valve cage, retains a dart valve within the valve cage portion of the hollow body using a threaded retaining nut secured by crimple detents. A series of helical grooves surround the central portion of the outer surface of the hollow body of the plunger to control spin during descent. A canted-coil-spring disposed within the retaining nut functions as a clutch. The valve cage includes ports that may be configured to control flow through the plunger during ascent. Other embodiments include clutch assemblies using canted-coil springs with split bobbins, and valve stems surfaced to achieve specific functions. Combinations of these features provide enhanced performance, durability and reliability at reduced manufacturing cost, due primarily to the simplicity of its design.

Gas-lift system with paired controllers
Systems and methods for controlling operation of a well, of which the method includes receiving an operation setting for operation of a system that provides lift gas into and produces gas from the well, monitoring operation of the system using a first controller, determining, using the first controller, that the system is not operating at the operation setting, and in response to determining that the system is not operating at the operation setting, sending, using a two-way communication link from the first controller to a second controller, a control signal to the second controller. The control signal is configured to cause the second controller to modify an operation of a compressor of the system.

Retrievable hydraulically actuated well pump
A well pump assembly has a tubular receptacle for attachment to a lower end of a string of production tubing. A docking station mounts to the receptacle, the docking station having a lower well fluid conduit for receiving well fluid from the well, a lower orientation guide, and a lower hydraulic connector. A hydraulic line extends alongside the receptacle and is in fluid communication with the lower hydraulic connector for supplying hydraulic fluid. A hydraulically actuated pump is configured to be lowered into and retrieved from the receptacle. A guide member on a lower end of the pump has an upper orientation guide, and an upper hydraulic connector in fluid communication with the pump, and an upper well fluid conduit leading to an intake of the pump.
