Each reciprocating pump set can include two reciprocating pumps. The control system can output drive signals for controlling reciprocating drawing and compressing operations of the reciprocating pumps, where the control system may be designed to output the drive signals that cause the two reciprocating pumps within the same set to provide opposing impact directions at the same time.

Smoke evacuation device inlet and outlet manifolds

A smoke evacuation device includes one or more cooling mechanisms and an exhaust mechanism to reduce velocity and noise of filtered air exiting the smoke evacuation system. The cooling mechanism includes ventilation openings and/or a rotary mechanism disposed within the system to circulate air and cool by convective heat transfer. A pressure relief mechanism is also provided at the inlet or outlet of the system or the pump within the system. The pressure relief mechanism is configured to reduce pressures due to abnormal flows within the smoke evacuation system.

Hydraulic unit

A hydraulic unit, in particular for a controllable-slip vehicle brake system, includes a housing block, a pump, a first fluid duct, and a second fluid duct. The housing block defines a pump receptacle that receives the pump, which has a suction side and a pressure side. The first duct crosses the pump receptacle in a region of the pressure side of the pump. The second duct leads into the pump receptacle in the region of the pressure side. The first and second ducts are sealed off from each over via a separation point. The hydraulic unit is configured to enable contact with a damping device configured to damp pulsations and reduce operating noise of the hydraulic unit without negatively impacting functional properties of the hydraulic unit, in particular on pressure build-up dynamics of the vehicle brake system, or without jeopardizing a compact construction of the hydraulic unit.

Diaphragm pump with sensor mount

Illustrative embodiments of diaphragm pumps including a sensor mount are disclosed. In one illustrative embodiment, a diaphragm pump may include a shaft disposed within a pump housing and coupled to at least one diaphragm, a mount removably attached to the pump housing and having a sensor receptacle, and a proximity sensor received in the sensor receptacle of the mount such that a sensing end of the proximity sensor is flush with an end of the sensor receptacle nearest the shaft.

A compact pump includes a case, a diaphragm assembly disposed in the case at an upper position and includes diaphragm units which form respective pump chambers, and a swing body disposed in the case at a lower position and moves the plural diaphragm units in the top-bottom direction. The diaphragm assembly has intake valve elements for opening and closing respective air introduction holes. An upper cover of the case has an exhaust hole and ring-shaped recesses. The upper cover has tubular inner wall surfaces defining the respective ring-shaped recesses. The diaphragm assembly includes tubular exhaust valve elements which are disposed in the respective ring-shaped recesses so as to contact the plural respective tubular inner wall surfaces and a rib which is disposed at its center in the vicinity of the exhaust hole and connects center-side outer wall surfaces of the tubular exhaust valve elements.

VALVE TIMING IN ELECTRONICALLY COMMUTATED HYDRAULIC MACHINE
20200208521 · 2020-07-02 ·

An electronically commutated hydraulic machine is coupled to a drivetrain. Working chambers of the hydraulic machine are connected to low and high pressure manifold through electronically controlled valves. The phase of opening and closing of the valves has a default. In order to avoid cycle failure due to acceleration events, for example due to backlash in the drivetrain, the phase of opening or closing of the electronically controlled valves is temporarily advanced or retarded from the default timing.

Exhaust air conduit for a coating agent pump

An exhaust air conduit for a pneumatically powered pump, in particular, from a coating agent pump in a painting plant, is provided. The conduit includes an inlet for receiving the exhaust air from the pump, an outlet for discharging the exhaust air, and an exhaust air channel in which the exhaust air flows from the inlet to the outlet of the exhaust air conduit, and a housing member in which the exhaust air channel extends. A first thermal insulation element is provided in the region of a direction change of the exhaust air channel, in order to prevent an accumulation of the exhaust air directly at the inner wall of the exhaust air channel and thereby to lessen the cooling of the housing member.

Method and system for minimizing vibration in a multi-pump arrangement

A technique for reducing harmonic vibration in a multiplex multi-pump system. The technique includes establishing a lower bound of system specific vibration-related information such as via pressure variation or other vibration indicator. Establishing the lower bound may be achieved through simulation with the system or through an initial sampling period of pump operation. During this time, random perturbations through a subset of the pumps may be utilized to disrupt timing or phase of the subset. Thus, system vibration may randomly increase or decrease upon each perturbation. Regardless, with a sufficient number of sampled perturbations, the lower bound may be established. Therefore, actual controlled system operations may proceed, again employing random perturbations until operation of the system close to the known lower bound is substantially attained.
