HIGH-PRESSURE FUEL PUMP
A fuel pump includes a plunger which reciprocates within a bore of a housing. The plunger extends from a first end proximal to a pumping chamber to a second end distal from the pumping chamber and includes a sealing ring groove between the first end and the second end. The sealing ring groove extends from an upper shoulder proximal to the first end to a lower shoulder distal from the first end and are separated by a first distance. A sealing ring is located within the sealing ring groove and engages the bore in an interference fit. A diametric clearance greater than 12 microns and less than 30 microns is provided between the plunger and the bore such that the diametric clearance extends between the sealing ring groove and the first end for a second distance which is at least four times the first distance.

Mud pump
A mud pump is provided that includes a pump shaft having substantially circular eccentric lobes. Each lobe is rotatably mounted in a connecting rod that, in turn, moves a slide in a horizontal and linearly manner. A pony rod operatively couples a pump fluid end module to one or both sides of each slide frame and a pump fluid end module. As the pump shaft turns, each lobe causes the slide to move side to side. As the slide moves side to side, each pony rod operates a pump fluid end module whose outputs can be coupled to a common manifold.
PENETRATION SEALING SYSTEM
A sealing system includes a housing with an interior chamber, where the interior chamber includes a mouth. The sealing system also includes a seal positioned adjacent to the mouth of the interior chamber and a plunger configured to move through the seal and into the interior chamber along a longitudinal axis of the sealing system. The plunger is configured to deform the seal from a first position to a second position, where in the first position, the seal has a first shape, and in the second position, the seal has a second shape, different from the first shape.
High Pressure Homogenizer
A high pressure homogenizer for flowable substances charged with particles, having a high pressure chamber and a homogenizer unit that is located fluidically downstream thereof and, by swirling, expands the fluid to be homogenized which has previously been brought to a pressure of more than 500 bar in the high pressure chamber, and a plunger pump associated with the homogenizer unit, the plunger of which plunger pump pressurizes the high pressure chamber, wherein the high pressure homogenizer has a low pressure chamber which surrounds the plunger shaft to cool the plunger and which has an operating pressure of P.sub.N≤25 bar, wherein the low pressure chamber and the high pressure chamber are separated from each other by a seal which is penetrated by the plunger, the seal being a throttle gap which is formed between the plunger shaft and a bushing that does not contact the plunger shaft, the ratio S/.sub.L of the length to the radial annular gap height of the throttle gap being ≤0.0015.
Fluid end with integrated valve seat
This disclosure presents a pump body, such as a fluid end housing used in a reciprocating pump, which provides an integral seating or engagement surface (or a valve seat integrated with the pump body) for a valve member. The integral engagement surface removes the need for a separate, replaceable valve seat and can last as long as the service life of the fluid end housing. This saves multiple maintenance services during the service life of the fluid end housing, along with the associated down time, labor costs, and material costs for the new valve seats. The integral engagement surface thus performs as an integral valve seat to the pump body. In some embodiments, the integral engagement surface may be coated, heat-treated, or otherwise modified to increase its wear resistance, such as by including one or more wear-resistant inserts to at least partially contact the valve member.
