An apparatus according to which a power end of a reciprocating pump assembly includes a block having bores formed therethrough, and crossheads disposed in the bores and adapted to reciprocate therein. A lubrication pump is in fluid communication with the bores. The pump is operable to pump lubrication fluid into each of the bores so that the crossheads are lubricated as they reciprocate within their respective bores. In another aspect, a power end includes a crosshead block and a power frame connected thereto, the frame including rib plates and supporting the crosshead block. In yet another aspect, a method includes casting a crosshead block; fabricating rib plates; connecting the rib plates to form a frame; and connecting the cast crosshead block to the frame. In some embodiments, the power ends may be used in oilfield operations such as, for example, the cementing, acidizing, or fracturing of a subterranean wellbore.

A hydraulic power pack for use in a hydraulic system includes a reservoir configured to receive hydraulic fluid. A pump is in communication with the reservoir and is fluidly connectable to the hydraulic system. The pump is configured to pump hydraulic fluid from the reservoir into the hydraulic system when connected thereto. A hydraulic fluid sensor is fluidly connectable to the hydraulic system to sense a fluid characteristic of the hydraulic fluid within the hydraulic system. A variable speed drive is operatively coupled to the pump and the hydraulic fluid sensor to receive sensor data therefrom, with the variable speed drive being configured to generate a pump control signal based on the received sensor data. The pump is configured to operate at various speeds based on the pump control signal received from the variable speed drive.

A polishing filter employed within a sump pump system for removing mineral oils, natural ester, and synthetic ester-based fluids from an emulsion is provided. The polishing filter is disposed within a sump pump barrier and is gravity-fed a synthetic ester and water based emulsion via a polishing filter conduit. The polishing filter removes excess synthetic ester-based fluids from a water/oil emulsion fluid flowing through a barrier canister disposed within the sump pump barrier above the polishing filter and releases a resultant filtered fluid. The polishing filter cartridge contains a filtration media with a hydrophilic composition for the capture of synthetic ester-based fluid having a surface tension dissimilar to water, and the hydrophilic composition of the media has a surface energy greater than or equal to 35 dynes per centimeter.

A filter manifold is provided for processing fluid being provided to a fluid dispenser, featuring a new and unique combination of a mounting bracket, a filter cartridge and an accumulator cartridge. The mounting bracket is configured with porting connections. The filter cartridge may include a filter cartridge porting connection configured to plumb into one of the porting connections on the mounting bracket and also configured to filter the fluid being provided to the fluid dispenser. The accumulator cartridge includes an accumulator cartridge porting connection configured to plumb into another one of the porting connections on the mounting bracket and also configured to receive, accumulate and provide the fluid to the filter cartridge to be filtered before being provided to the fluid dispenser.

A method includes measuring a fluid pressure of fluid in a fluid supply line of an infusion pump. The fluid pressure includes a motor pressure and a patient pressure. The method also includes determining the patient pressure. The determining includes removing, by an adaptive filter, to remove the motor pressure from the measured fluid pressure. The removing includes generating a predicted motor pressure based on the current of the motor, generating an error signal based on a comparison between the predicted motor pressure and the measured fluid pressure, and removing the motor pressure from the measured fluid pressure when an error value indicative of the error signal is less than an error threshold. The method also includes adjusting, based on the patient pressure, a setting of the infusion pump. A method includes measuring a fluid pressure of fluid in a fluid supply line of an infusion pump. The fluid pressure includes a motor pressure and a patient pressure. The method also includes determining the patient pressure. The determining includes removing, by an adaptive filter, to remove the motor pressure from the measured fluid pressure. The removing includes generating a predicted motor pressure based on the current of the motor, generating an error signal based on a comparison between the predicted motor pressure and the measured fluid pressure, and removing the motor pressure from the measured fluid pressure when an error value indicative of the error signal is less than an error threshold. The method also includes adjusting, based on the patient pressure, a setting of the infusion pump.
