Ultra High Pressure Pump With An Alternating Rotation To Linear Displacement Drive Mechanism
A high pressure pump including a linear actuator having a servo motor to axially rotate a hollow rotor shaft in alternating directions, the servo motor having a stator positioned co-axially around the hollow rotor shaft with an interior of the rotor shaft being co-axially coupled to a drive member to convert axial rotation into reciprocal displacement, the drive member being constrained against linear movement and supporting a shaft. At least one piston is coupled to the shaft and the piston is arranged within a cylinder to define a pumping chamber, whereby alternating rotation of the rotor shaft causes reciprocal linear displacement of the piston to pressurize fluid in the pumping chamber. A drive mechanism includes a controller coupled to a servomotor and an encoder to measure movement of the hollow rotor or output shaft and send a feedback signal proportional to the movement to the controller.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MONITORING OIL PRESSURE AND GAS PRESSURE OF DIAPHRAGM COMPRESSOR

The gas cylinder includes a cylinder head. The strain gauge circuit includes a strain gauge component and a bridge circuit that are connected to each other, and the strain gauge component is arranged on the cylinder head.
System and method for pressure compensation in a pump
Systems and methods for maintaining substantially a baseline pressure in a chamber of a pumping apparatus are disclosed. Embodiments of the present invention may serve to control a motor to compensate or account for a pressure drift which may occur in a chamber of the pumping apparatus. More specifically, a dispense motor may be controlled to substantially maintain a baseline pressure in the dispense chamber before a dispense based on a pressure sensed in the dispense chamber. In one embodiment, before a dispense is initiated a control loop may be utilized such that it is repeatedly determined if the pressure in the dispense chamber is above a desired pressure and, if so, the movement of the pumping means regulated to maintain substantially the desired pressure in the dispense chamber until a dispense of fluid is initiated.
HOME FLOOD PREVENTION APPLIANCE SYSTEM
A home flood prevention appliance system includes controller circuitry disposed in a shroud above a cover of a sump basin, and a plurality of electrically operated sump pumps disposed in a lower portion of a structural frame positionable below the cover in the sump basin. The system also includes a water control actuator operable as a water main control device for a domestic water distribution network and a flow meter to measure the flow of municipal water supplied to the network. The controller circuitry configured to selectively energize the pumps to extract liquid from a sump basin based on a liquid level in the sump basin. The water control actuator controlled by the controller circuitry to shut off a municipal water supply to the domestic water distribution network in response to detection of a leak. Communication circuitry included in the home flood prevention appliance may wirelessly communicate.
Safety pressure limiting system and method for positive displacement pumps with optional automatic restart
Certain conditions or triggering events require preventing or throttling the discharge of a servicing fluid from a pump to a wellhead or a borehole. Powering down may not be desirable or may require a duration that allows the condition or triggering event to persist. Selectively and automatically activating one or more pressure control valves may throttle or prevent the servicing fluid from being pumped from the pump during the power down sequence or without requiring a power down sequence. Selective activation of a pressure control valve may introduce pressurized fluid into a cylinder of the pump extending a rod to force or maintain a suction valve in an open position. While the suction valve is in the open position, the stroke of the plunger may not create enough pressure to pump the servicing fluid causing the servicing fluid to flow between a fluid header and a chamber of the pump.
Plunger pump
A plunger pump includes, independently of a pump head, a pressure detection apparatus independently having a sensor part for detecting a fluid pressure, and the pump head and the pressure detection apparatus are detachably mounted with a communication member sandwiched between them. Therefore, when the pressure detection apparatus fails, only the pressure detection apparatus can be replaced, and the pump head can be used as it is without replacement.
Blood treatment device comprising a metering line having a membrane pump and a valve and method for metering
The invention relates to a blood treatment device having at least one metering line which opens into a fluid circuit, wherein a conveyor module is arranged in the metering line and comprises a membrane pump and a valve which is arranged at the pressure side thereof and which can act both as a blocking valve and as a restricting valve.
