The disclosure discloses a method and a device for controlling cylinder switching of a compressor, a unit and an air conditioning system. The method includes: determining whether the compressor needs to perform cylinder switching; if so, adjusting current operating frequency according to a system pressure difference so that both the adjusted operating frequency and the system pressure difference meet a cylinder switching condition of the compressor; and controlling the compressor to perform cylinder switching. At the moment, the system pressure difference and the operation frequency are stable, and would not interfere the compressor's maintaining of the single-cylinder or double-cylinder operation state, which guarantees the energy efficiency of the unit where the compressor is located, and improves the use experience of a user.

INFLATOR WITH DYNAMIC PRESSURE COMPENSATION

A method of inflating a vehicle tire, having an internal volume between about 10 gallons and about 12 gallons, includes discharging compressed air into the internal volume with an inflator. The inflator has an inflator housing, a motor within the inflator housing defining a motor axis and including an output shaft rotatable about the motor axis, a DC power source configured to provide power to the motor at a nominal output voltage, and a pump within the inflator housing and coupled to the output shaft. The pump includes a cylinder defining a cylinder axis and a piston that is reciprocable within the cylinder along the cylinder axis in response to rotation of the output shaft. By discharging compressed air into the internal volume, increasing a static pressure of the internal volume by 5 pounds per square inch (psi) from a starting pressure in the internal volume between 28 psi and 31 psi occurs within 40 to 60 seconds.

PUMP DRIVE SYSTEM

A drive system for a fluid displacement pump includes an electric motor, a drive coupled to the rotor at a first end of the electric motor, a fluid displacement member mechanically coupled to the drive, and a pump frame mechanically coupled to the electric motor. The electric motor includes a stator and a rotor disposed on an axis. The drive coupled to the rotor converts the rotational output to a linear, reciprocating input to the fluid displacement member. The rotor is disposed about the stator to rotate about the stator.

Startup control systems and methods to reduce flooded startup conditions

A refrigeration system includes a startup mode control module that receives an off time of a compressor and an ambient temperature, determines whether the off time and the ambient temperature indicate that the compressor is in a flooded condition, and selects, based on the determination, between a normal startup mode and a flooded startup mode. A compressor control module operates the compressor in the normal startup mode in response to the startup mode control module selecting the normal startup mode, operates the compressor in the flooded startup mode in response to the startup mode control module selecting the flooded startup mode, and transitions from the flooded startup mode to the normal startup mode after a predetermined period associated with operating in the flooded startup mode.

Pump control system and abnormal processing and recovering method thereof

A pump control system and an abnormal processing and recovering method thereof are disclosed. The pump control system includes a pump; a motor mechanically connected to the pump; and a driving controller electrically coupled to the motor, and the driving controller configured to control a speed of the motor. The driving controller controls the speed of the motor to be varied in a multistage manner in response to an abnormal triggering event, so as to recover the pump control system to an originally set stable state. The abnormal triggering event is generated by at least one physical parameter when the pump control system is operated.

Inflator with dynamic pressure compensation

An inflator includes an inflator housing, a pressure sensor operable to generate a pressure signal related to an outlet pressure of the inflator, a motor within the inflator housing, a battery pack removably coupleable to the inflator housing, and a controller electrically coupled to the motor and the battery pack. The controller is configured to receive the pressure signal from the pressure sensor, determine a rate of pressurization change based on the pressure signal, determine a static pressure value based on the rate of pressurization change, and determine a motor time delay based on a target pressure value, the static pressure value, and the rate of pressurization change. The controller is also configured to generate a control signal when the motor time delay substantially equals zero. The control signal is operable to cause power to the motor to be turned off to stop a pressurization condition of the inflator.
