A bearing arrangement for a unit that is mutually turnable around a centre of rotation (R) comprising an external part (1) and an internal part (7), which, with the aid of high hydraulically acting pressure, is arranged to achieve a reciprocating rotary motion, or that is arranged to achieve a high hydraulic pressure from an applied torque from a reciprocating motion, whereby the external part (1) is provided with side walls arranged to axially surround at least a part of the internal part (7), and whereby the external part (1) comprises a radially inwardly arranged and essentially surrounding cavity (11, 12, 13, 14) in which the internal part (7) is arranged such that it can be rotated, which cavity (11, 12, 13, 14) is limited in the circumferential direction by at least one wing (3, 4) that protrudes inwards from the external part (1) and also limited by at least one wing (9, 10) that protrudes radially outwards from the internal part (7), which wings (3, 4, 9, 10) limit at least two chambers or compartments (11, 12, 13, 14) between the external part (1) and the internal part (7). At least one of the side walls of the external part is fixed connected with the, at least one, wing (3, 4) that protrudes radially inwards towards the internal part (7), which wing demonstrates a surface that faces radially inwards and that has a circular concave curvature for connection with an outwardly facing circular convex contact surface (8) at the internal part (7).

VARIABLE VOLUME CHAMBER FOR INTERACTION WITH A FLUID

Variable volume chamber devices are disclosed. The chambers may be defined by the space between two complementary rotors. The volume of the chambers may vary as a function of the variation of relative rotational speeds of the two rotors.

Rotary compressor/pump

A rotary compressor or pump has a cam with a plurality of lobes mechanically engaging a plurality of pistons. The lobes urge the pistons from an open to a closed position within a piston void, the closure of the piston into the piston void creating compression or pressure of a material. Each piston is linked to another piston, and as one piston is closed by the cam, the other piston is opened by a linkage.

Pump and/or compressor arrangement including mating, oscillatable vane members for the simultaneous admission and discharge of fluid
09915262 · 2018-03-13 ·

The present invention relates to an apparatus for pumping or compressing a fluid, the apparatus characterized by a compression chamber including an inlet and outlet, opposed front and rear vane members disposed inside said compression chamber, each vane member including at least one axially extending vane segment and at least one radially disposed open segment adapted to receive a vane segment of the opposed vane member, wherein adjacent vane segments of mating vane members form radial compartments there between. The assembly further includes a swing arm assembly for effecting equal and opposite rotational oscillation of the front and rear vane members such that adjacent vane segments oscillate toward and away from one another simultaneously, thereby creating a bellowing effect which draws fluid into the chamber via the inlet and discharges fluid out of the chamber via the outlet. The invention further relates to an assembly for translating rotational motion of an input shaft to oscillatory motion of the vane members.

Vacuum Sealable Container with Internal Pump Mechanism

A pump mechanism for vacuum sealing an airtight cavity formed by a container and a lid, including a bore having a first one-way seal allowing air from the airtight cavity to enter the bore and blocking air inside the bore from returning to the airtight cavity and a second one-way seal allowing air inside the bore to leave the bore without returning to the airtight cavity and blocking air outside of the bore from entering the bore, a piston disposed inside the bore, and a chamber of air enclosed by the bore, the first and second one-way seals, and the piston, wherein actuation of the piston in a first direction causes air to evacuate the airtight cavity and enter the chamber through the first one-way seal, and wherein actuation of the piston in a second direction causes air to exit the chamber through the second one-way seal.

Radial piston machine with brake

A radial piston machine includes a rotor within a housing that is rotatable about an axis, a shaft coupled to the rotor, a distributor which surrounds the shaft and cannot rotate with the rotor and that contacts the rotor in an axial direction, a plurality of brake discs including first brake discs and second brake discs arranged side-by-side along the axis, wherein the first brake discs are coupled to the housing for torque transmission, and the second brake discs are coupled to the shaft for torque transmission, and an actuator configured to releasably exert a brake force in the axial direction on the brake discs. The distributor is located axially between the rotor and the actuator, and the brake discs are located axially between the distributor and the actuator. When the brake force is exerted the brake force is supported by the distributor in the axial direction.
