SPREADER
A spreader for spreading a material including at least one pair of rotating discs having a plurality of generally radially oriented blades attached thereon for disbursing the material in a pre-selected pattern. The discs are rotatably positioned below an end of a funnel unit to receive material passing through the funnel units. The material, as it passes through the funnel units, is directed to a predetermined impact region on each of the rotating discs by a corresponding pair of deflecting vanes integrally fit and movably attached within each funnel of the pair of funnel units. Each deflecting vane is selectably movable by a corresponding actuator from a first position to a second position while the spreader is operating.
GARDENING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A gardening apparatus including a housing having an inner chamber, a handle, a hose coupled to the handle and configured to actuate release of a granular substance, a receiving clip, a plurality of wheels, a rotatable structure, and a plurality of circular devices including a plurality of projections, wherein the plurality of circular devices is removably attached to the plurality of wheels. The gardening apparatus is useful for simultaneously fertilizing and aerating a lawn or garden, while promoting speedy germination of plants, flowers, vegetables, and more.
Method and Apparatus Used for Biological Control of Agricultural Pests
An apparatus for biological control of agricultural pests and for reducing damage to crops. The apparatus includes a container for holding biological organisms or material. The container also includes first and second ends and an opening formed at the first end for receiving the biological organisms. The apparatus has a dispensing port disposed at the second end for dispensing the biological organisms over a target location. The apparatus further includes an auger, driven by a motor and having a plurality of spiral like wire brushes, said auger mounted to and driven by a first motor; a spreader motor mount having a motor mount holding area for holding a second motor, the spreader motor mount having a motor mount connection area for connecting to the second end; and a spreader agitating device used for spreading the biological organisms or material over the target location.
Method of soil conditioning by application of water-soluble or water-swelling polymer
Method of soil conditioning which consists in applying a water-soluble or water-swelling polymer to the soil, characterized in that: the polymer is prepared as a polymer-concentrated liquid, the preparation of obtained in this way is applied to the surface of a support rotating about its axis of revolution in order to form droplets which are spread on the soil.
METHOD AND APPARATUS USED FOR BIOLOGICAL CONTROL OF AGRICULTURAL PESTS
An apparatus for biological control of agricultural pests and for reducing damage to crops is disclosed. The apparatus includes a rotatable container for holding biological organisms or material. The walls of the container include a series of openings through which the biological organisms or material can pass, dispersing the biological organisms or material over a target area when the container is rotated.
High output precision spinner
Method for a centrifugal spreader to precisely spread particulate material across an entire field with increased application rate, swath width and driving speed by utilizing a tiered disk spinner arrangement fed by a conveyor and guided by a material divider and an adjustable chute moveable in rotation around the spinner disk to achieve a desired symmetrical or asymmetrical spread pattern.
Material spreader apparatus for a helicopter
A material spreader which is suspended beneath an airborne helicopter and which includes a container for flowable materials such as seeds, fertilizers or chemicals. The container has a discharge opening formed in its lower end which has a vertically movable valve positioned therein. The valve is controlled by the pilot of the helicopter from within the cockpit of the helicopter so that the application rate of the material may be varied without the necessity of landing the helicopter.
Automated feeder apparatus for directionally discharging animal feed
An animal feeder has a hopper body adjustably mounted on a mounting base for directing feed material in a selected direction. The mounting base includes a pair of ground support elements pivotally mounted on a lateral support plate with a pair of pivot bolts, and further including a locking bolt that enables the lateral support plate to be pivotally adjusted with respect to the pair of ground support elements. The hopper body is rotatably mounted on the lateral support plate via a center bolt. A feed dispensing mechanism discharges the feed material through a feed discharge aperture, in a direction that is adjusted via the positioning of the adjustment base.
Cylinder head
A cylinder head comprising a cavity for receiving a pre-chamber gas valve, wherein an opening extending substantially or completely around the pre-chamber gas valve forms an annular passage with a wall of the cavity, that surrounds the pre-chamber gas valve, wherein the annular passage is connected to at least one gas feed passage for supplying the pre-chamber gas valve with combustion gas, wherein the annular passage with at least one inclined gas passage is connected with the lower cavity of the pre-chamber gas valve.
