Pressurized Vapor Cycle Liquid Distillation

Embodiments of the invention are directed toward a novel pressurized vapor cycle for distilling liquids. In some embodiments of the invention, a liquid purification system is revealed, including the elements of an input for receiving untreated liquid, a vaporizer coupled to the input for transforming the liquid to vapor, a head chamber for collecting the vapor, a vapor pump with an internal drive shaft and an eccentric rotor with a rotatable housing for compressing vapor, and a condenser in communication with the vapor pump for transforming the compressed vapor into a distilled product. Other embodiments of the invention are directed toward heat management, and other process enhancements for making the system especially efficient.

Liquid ring fluid flow machine

A liquid ring fluid flow machine is presented. The machine includes a stationary annular housing having an outer surface and an inner surface. The inner surface defines a chamber that is arranged to receive a liquid. A rotor having a core and a plurality of radially extending vanes is eccentrically rotatably mounted within the chamber for directing the liquid into a recirculating liquid ring in proximity to the inner surface of the housing within the chamber. The inner surface of the housing that is in contact with the recirculating liquid ring is covered by a hydrophobic coating. The machine further includes a first supply pipe and a second supply pipe, each in fluid communication with the chamber.

Liquid ring pump

Liquid ring pumps are used to pump a variety of fluid types. Corrosive fluids are easily handled by the work fluid but can cause corrosion of pumping mechanisms. The present invention provides a magnetically driven liquid ring pump with corrosion resistant pumping mechanisms which achieves a longer time between service intervals.

A liquid ring pump includes an external housing enclosing a volume including a lower fluid reservoir. A rotatable inner housing is within the volume of the external housing, the inner housing enclosing an inner fluid chamber. A pitot tube provides fluid communication between the lower fluid reservoir and the inner fluid chamber. The housings and pitot tube are adapted so that when the inner housing rotates, fluid flows from the lower fluid reservoir through the pitot tube into the inner fluid chamber to develop a liquid ring within the inner fluid chamber such that an inner radial wall of the liquid ring is just radially outward from a point where the pitot tube enters the inner fluid chamber.

Exhaust bearing seat, screw compressor and air-conditioning unit

An exhaust bearing seat, a screw compressor and an air-conditioning unit are provided. The exhaust bearing seat is provided with a discharge port, wherein an opening of the discharge port is orientated in such a way that, if the exhaust bearing seat is sheathed in a housing, gas exhausted from the discharge port has a component which rotates along an inner wall of the housing and around an axial direction of the housing. The discharge port is able to guide the gas flow to rotationally flow along the inner wall of the housing body and around the axial direction of the housing, which extends the flow path of the gas flow inside the housing, and facilitates the reduction of noise of the gas flow pulsation.
