A compressor (1) includes: a temperature sensor (11A) that senses a temperature of a compressed air on a discharge side of a low-pressure-stage compressor body (3) and on an upstream side of an intercooler (5); a pressure sensor (12A) that senses a pressure of the compressed air on the discharge side of the low-pressure-stage compressor body (3); a temperature sensor (11B) that senses a temperature of the compressed air on an intake side of a high-pressure-stage compressor body (6) and on a downstream side of the intercooler (5); a temperature sensor (11C) that senses a temperature of the compressed air on a discharge side of the high-pressure-stage compressor body (6); a controller (8) that decides whether or not an anomaly has occurred in sensed values of the sensors (11A), (11B), (11C), and (12A), and estimates a cause of the anomaly; and a display device (9) that displays the cause of the anomaly estimated by the controller (8).
SEPARATOR SYSTEM
A separator system may include a separator for separating a liquid (e.g. an operating liquid received from a liquid ring pump) from a mixture comprising the liquid and another substance; a level indicator coupled to the separator, the level indicator being for indicating a level of the liquid in the separator, the level indicator comprising a tubular member fluidly connected to the separator such that the liquid within the separator may flow from the separator into the tubular member; and a liquid line configured to supply liquid to the separator, the liquid line coupled to the level indicator such that the tubular member is fluidly connected between the liquid line and the separator.
Motor-operated compressor
A motor-operated compressor includes a compression part including a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll that form a compression chamber configured to compress fluid by an orbiting motion of the orbiting scroll relative to the fixed scroll. A motor part is disposed at one side of the compression part, and configured to generate a drive force to cause the orbiting scroll to make the orbiting motion. A rotary shaft is connected to the motor part and the orbiting scroll to transmit the drive force generated by the motor part to the orbiting scroll. A main frame is disposed between the compression part and the motor part in an axial direction of the rotary shaft, and configured to support the fixed scroll in the axial direction of the rotary shaft. A discharge chamber is formed between the fixed scroll and the main frame, and fluid discharged from the compression part passes through the discharge chamber to outside of the motor-operated compressor.
Dryer for compressed gas, compressor installation provided with such a dryer and method for drying gas
A dryer for a compressed gas provided with a vessel with a drying agent and a drying zone-and a regeneration zone; at least one intermediate zone that, viewed in the direction of rotation of the drum, is situated between the regeneration zone and the drying zone and which is provided with a separate inlet and an outlet that is shared with or connected to the outlet of the regeneration zone; a tap-off pipe that branches off from the outlet of the drying zone and connects to the aforementioned separate inlet of the intermediate zone; one or more blowers in the tap-off pipe for effectuating an intermediate flow from the drying zone, where the dryer is configured such that the entire flow of gas to be dried supplied to the dryer is first guided through the regeneration zone.
Compound engine system with rotary engine
A compound engine system includes a rotary engine with rotating chambers, a compressor section in successive communication with the rotating chambers, and a turbine section in successive communication with the rotating chambers. The turbine section has an output shaft. The output shaft and the engine shaft are drivingly engaged to each other and wherein the turbine section has a power output corresponding to from 20% to 35% of a total power output of the compound engine system. A method of compounding power in a compound engine system is also discussed.
VACUUM LINE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A VACUUM LINE
A vacuum line and method for controlling a vacuum line in which an auxiliary pumping device and a diluent gas injection device are controlled according to a first operating mode in which the pressure prevailing in the discharge pipe is maintained at less than or equal to 20,000 Pa or according to a second operating mode in which the pressure prevailing in the discharge pipe is greater than 20,000 Pa, and the injection of a diluent gas into the stream of the pumped gases is controlled, downstream of an intake of the rough pumping device, such as into the discharge pipe and/or into the rough pumping device and/or into the auxiliary pumping device by the diluent gas injection device in the second operating mode.
Power saving vacuuming pump system based on complete-bearing-sealing and dry-large-pressure-difference root vacuuming root pumps
A power saving vacuuming pump system is based on complete-bearing-sealing and dry-large-pressure-difference root vacuuming root pumps includes an input valve at an input end of a vacuum space for receiving gas mixture of saturation water vapor and non-condensed air from a condenser of a power plant; a first root vacuum pump connected to the input valve for receiving gas mixture from the input valve and then compressing the gas mixture; a second root vacuum pump connected to the first root vacuum pump for receiving gas mixture from the first root vacuum pump and then compressing the gas mixture. Inner connection walls between the vacuum chamber and the two bearing chambers are installed respective bearings which are installed to be around the driving shaft, and thus all the vacuum chamber and the two bearing chambers are tightly sealed. The vacuum chamber is completely dried so as to prevent from internal emulsion.
