Vane cell pump comprising a pressure equalization connection
A vane cell pump, including: a delivery chamber having an inlet and an outlet; a rotor which is arranged in the delivery chamber and has a rotor body and vanes which are accommodated by the rotor body such that they can be shifted radially; an end-facing wall which delineates the delivery chamber on an axial end-facing side; and a supporting element which is arranged axially between the end-facing wall and the rotor body and which supports the vanes at their radially inner vane ends, wherein the rotor body, the supporting element and each two vanes which are adjacent in the circumferential direction of the rotor form chambers, the volume of which varies when the rotor is rotating. A pressure equalization connection fluidically connects at least two of the chambers to each other.
Oil pump receiving bore lip
A gearbox system for a rotorcraft includes a gearbox housing, an oil pump receiving bore formed into the gearbox housing and having formed therein a first opening having a first diameter and a second opening, and an oil pump positioned within the oil pump receiving bore. The second opening is bounded by a lip that extends radially into the second opening, the second opening having a second diameter that is smaller than the first diameter.
Vane pump with improved seal assembly for control chamber
A vane pump comprises a housing and a control slide. A rotor rotates to draw lubricant into a rotor receiving space of the slide via a housing inlet and discharges the lubricant via an outlet. The control slide moves to change its eccentricity relative to the rotor for increasing and decreasing a pressure differential between the inlet and outlet. The control slide is biased in a displacement increasing direction. The control slide has one or more seals defining a control chamber with housing. The one or more seals includes a seal assembly received in a recess on a control slide outer surface. The seal assembly has a base element in the recess and a bearing element pivotally attached to the base element and bearing against an inner surface of the housing for sealing. The pivotal attachment includes male and female pivotal connectors coupled together.
Scroll compressor having a shaft support portion including a closing portion
Provided is a scroll compressor including a sealed case, a fixed scroll portion fixed at an inside of the sealed case and provided with a fixed scroll vane, an orbiting scroll portion provided with an orbiting scroll vane that is coupled to the fixed scroll vane, and a rotating shaft formed to allow the orbiting scroll portion to orbit. The orbiting scroll portion is provided at a center thereof with a shaft support portion such that the orbiting scrolling portion is coupled to the rotating shaft. The shaft support portion includes a closing portion provided to cover an end portion of the rotating shaft, and slide while in contact with an inner surface of the fixed scroll portion, and a high-pressure space formed in an outer surface of the closing portion that faces the inner surface of the fixed scroll portion, and on which a discharge pressure acts.
SCAVENGE GEAR PLATE FOR IMPROVED FLOW
A pump includes a first gear plate and a first pair of counter rotating gears positioned on a first side of the gear plate. The pair of counter rotating gears draws fluid from an inlet and transfers the fluid into an outlet of a common manifold. The gear plate has a cutout to increase the flow of fluid into the common manifold.
Variable displacement lubricant vane pump
A variable lubricant vane pump includes a pump housing, a shiftable control ring, a rotatable pump rotor, a control ring preload spring which preloads and pushes the control ring into a high eccentricity direction, a hydraulic safety control chamber which moves the control ring against the control ring preload spring and which is directly and constantly pressurized with a pressurized lubricant having a pump outlet pressure, a separate hydraulic adjustment control chamber which moves the control ring against the control ring preload spring and which is selectively pressurized with the pressurized lubricant having an over-atmospheric pressure, an electric adjustment valve which selectively directs the pressurized lubricant having the over-atmospheric pressure to the separate hydraulic adjustment control chamber, and a calibrated hydraulic channel which directly connects the separate hydraulic adjustment control chamber with atmospheric pressure. An effective hydraulic cross-sectional area of the calibrated hydraulic channel is less than 5.0 mm.sup.2.
DIRECT DRIVE REFRIGERANT SCREW COMPRESSOR WITH REFRIGERANT LUBRICATED ROTORS
Disclosed is a direct-drive refrigerant screw compressor, having: a housing; a compression chamber in the housing; a pair of rotors, each rotor of the pair of rotors being rotationally disposed in the compression chamber and including an outer surface with a screw-geared profile; a fluid being disposed in the compression chamber, the fluid consisting of a working fluid for providing lubrication to each rotor; a first port extending through the housing and configured for directing the fluid toward the compression chamber; and when the compressor is activated, each rotor rotates and the fluid is distributed about each rotor to lubricate each rotor.
Drive apparatus having oil passage defined in stopper body
A pump includes an external gear, an internal gear surrounding the external gear to mesh with the external gear, a pump chamber to house the internal gear and the external gear, a suction inlet to suck an oil into the pump chamber, and a discharge outlet to discharge the oil from inside the pump chamber. The housing includes an outer cover having the pump chamber defined therein, and a first oil passage defined in the outer cover and connected to the discharge outlet. The motor shaft includes a second oil passage connected to the first oil passage, and a first through hole to connect the second oil passage to the motor shaft. The second oil passage opens into the first oil passage at the end portion of the motor shaft.
COMPRESSOR STOP VALVE AND ASSOCIATED SYSTEM
A compressor system is provided that includes a contact cooled compressor and a coolant separator. The coolant separator is used to remove coolant fluid from a compressed flow stream produced by the contact cooled compressor during its operation. The coolant separator routes the removed coolant fluid back to the contact cooled compressor for further use. In some forms the coolant fluid is cooled prior to delivery back to the compressor. A stop valve can be provided in the coolant fluid return line to halt the flow of the fluid. A pressure sensitive member can be disposed to sense pressure of the coolant fluid that has been routed past the stop valve. Operation of the compressor can be changed as a result of the sensed pressure from the pressure sensitive member. Information from a temperature sensitive member can also be used to change operation of the compressor.
