An intermediate discharge port in a scroll compressor and a method for controlling part-load efficiency of a scroll compressor are disclosed. The compressor includes a compressor housing; a non-orbiting scroll member and an orbiting scroll member forming a compression chamber; a discharge port for receiving a compressed fluid; and an intermediate discharge port fluidly connected between the compression chamber and the discharge port, the intermediate discharge port including a sealing member, fluid flow being prevented between the compression chamber and the discharge port through the intermediate discharge port when in a flow-blocked state, and fluid flow being enabled between the compression chamber and the discharge port through the intermediate discharge port when in a flow-permitted state.

What is concerned is an eccentric screw pump having at least one stator (1), a rotor (2) rotating in the stator, a drive (3) for the rotor, a pump housing (4) which is connected to the stator (1) and has at least one inlet opening (6) for the medium to be conveyed, a connection housing (14) arranged between the pump housing (4) and drive (3), a connection shaft (9) which is connected to the drive (3) and is arranged at least in certain regions in the connection housing (14), and a coupling rod (10) which is arranged in the pump housing (4) and is connected to the connection shaft (9) via a drive-side joint (11) and to the rotor (2) via a rotor-side joint (12). The drive-side housing connection piece (16) can be demounted in such a way that the drive-side joint (11) can be exposed for maintenance or demounting.
Water Pump For Marine Engine Having Tool For Replacing Impeller
A water pump for a marine engine includes a cap covering an internal cavity of the pump's housing when the pump is operating. The cap functions as a tool to remove a damaged or worn impeller from inside the internal cavity. A threaded hub of the cap engages internal threads of the impeller to assist a user in removing the impeller for replacement. A cap lock ring threaded onto the pump housing retains the cap over the internal cavity. A rotatable drive shaft has splines which mate with a splined portion of the impeller to rotate the impeller. The cap lock ring is disengaged from the housing and the cap removed to enable a person to use the threaded hub of the cap to remove the impeller.
PUMP SLEEVE FOR INTEGRATED DRIVE GENERATOR
A pump sleeve for an inversion pump in an integrated drive generator has a pump sleeve body extending between a first end and a second end, the first end being at a location adjacent an enlarged endplate. The body extends to the second end with a generally cylindrical body portion having a bore of an inner diameter from the first end to the second end, and between the first and second ends for a distance. A ratio of the first distance to the inner diameter being is 1.8 and 2.0. In addition, an integrated drive generator is disclosed as is a method of replacing an accessory drive gear in an integrated drive generator.
REMANUFACTURING A TRANSMISSION PUMP ASSEMBLY
A transmission pump is be removed from service and remanufactured into a remanufactured transmission pump. A first gear assembly is removed from the pump. A bore of the pump is machined from a first depth to a greater second depth. A second gear assembly is installed in the machined bore. The second gear assembly has a same horizontal geometry and a greater axial depth than the first gear assembly.
COMPONENT-REPLACEABLE WATER RING VACUUM PUMP
Disclosed is a component-replaceable water ring vacuum pump in which inner components within a head unit may be disassembled and replaced without separation of the head unit from a main body, thus shortening an operation time and improving operation efficiency through prevention of leakage of an inner liquid during a replacement process. The water ring vacuum pump includes a main body provided with a shaft, a rotor rotated together with the shaft within the main body, a head unit coupled to both sides of the main body, a guide bearing provided within the head unit, and a mechanical seal configured to block inner gas. A bearing bracket to support the guide bearing is detachably fastened to one side of the head unit by a bolt, and an inner cap and an outer cap are assembled to the inner and outer surfaces of the bearing bracket by fixing bolts.
Remanufacturing a transmission pump assembly

A down-hole tool and method for pressure testing production tubing within a borehole of a well returning the well to production, including a valve having a first valve member positioned within the tool housing and a second valve member moveable between a closed position and an open position; and a valve catcher engaged with a distal end of a rotor of the progressive cavity pump, the valve catcher for securing the second valve member in the open position with the valve catcher during rotational operation of the rotor and securing the second valve member with the valve catcher during removal of the second valve member from within the progressive cavity pump when the rotor is removed through the progressive cavity pump stator; wherein the production tubing may be pressure tested when the second valve member is in the closed position with respect to the first valve member.

This housing is a cylindrical housing including a bearing-member mounting portion provided at least one position on the inner circumferential surface, on which bearing-member mounting portion a bearing member is mounted; mounting legs provided at least two vertical positions on the outer circumferential surface; and chucking portions to be chucked by a chuck mechanism of a machining apparatus during machining, provided on the outer circumferential surface, at least three positions in the circumferential direction, corresponding to the position where the bearing-member mounting portion is provided.

The invention relates to a screw spindle pump, with a housing (2) which surrounds a delivery chamber (5), two spindles (7, 8), namely a drive spindle (7) and an opposed running spindle (8), a housing insert (6) which is arranged in the housing (2) and in which the spindles (7, 8) are accommodated, at least one bearing element (13, 13), which is connected to the housing insert (6) and on which bearings (12) of the spindles (7, 8) are arranged, and with at least one housing cover (14, 14), closing a housing opening. It is the object of the invention to provide a screw spindle pump at which maintenance and inspection work can be carried out more simply and cost-effectively. The invention achieves this object in that the bearing element (13, 13) together with the housing insert (6) and the spindles (7, 8) accommodated therein forms a unit (15) which, after the housing cover (14, 14) is taken off, is removable from the housing (2) through the housing opening.
