A scroll compressor with a stationary scroll, an orbiting scroll, and a discharge port through which a fluid that has been compressed by both the scrolls is discharged. An end plate of the orbiting scroll is provided with an end-plate side stepped portion formed such that, along a spiral of a spiral wrap, the height thereof increases toward a central side of the spiral and decreases toward an outer end side thereof. A spiral wrap of the stationary scroll is provided with a wall-portion side stepped portion formed corresponding to the end-plate side stepped portion such that the height thereof decreases toward the central side of the spiral and increases toward the outer end side thereof. A pair of compression chambers which face each other, the ventral side compression chamber communicates with the discharge port before the dorsal side compression chamber communicates with the discharge port.
Eccentric screw compressor with exposable rotor connector
An eccentric screw pump has a stator, a rotor in the stator, a drive for the rotor, and a pump housing between the stator and the drive and having an opening between for receiving the medium being pumped. A releasable drive-end coupling connects a connecting shaft of the drive to a coupling rod, and a rotor-end releasably connects the coupling rod to the rotor at a separation point. A rotor stub connects the rotor to the rotor-end coupling and is separable from the rotor at the separation point. A drive-end housing collar secures the pump housing to the drive. A rotor-end housing collar has a fixed first element fixed relative to the pump housing and an axially displaceable second element that is releasably fixable to the stator and that can be pushed axially toward the housing opening of the pump housing onto the first element to expose the separation point.
Stator element of a progressive cavity pump and progressive cavity pump
A stator element of a progressive cavity pump having a reinforcement tube having a longitudinal axis, an inner face (22), and an outer face, and an elastomer liner fixed to the inner face of the reinforcement tube, wherein a portion of the reinforcement tube has a substantially constant thickness (e) and in that said portion of the reinforcement tube is deformed such that it comprises at least a first relief pattern and a second relief pattern, the first relief pattern having the shape of a helical strip that is right-handed relative to the longitudinal axis, the second relief pattern having the shape of a helical strip that is left-handed relative to the longitudinal axis, the first and second relief patterns meeting in at least one section.
Rotary screw compressor
A rotary screw compressor includes a compressor assembly and a drive motor assembly. The compressor assembly includes a compressor housing, a first screw rotor and a second screw rotor installed in the compressor housing and engaged with each other. An end of the first screw rotor is an engaging end. The drive motor assembly includes a motor housing, a motor rotor, a motor stator and a centering bushing installed in the motor housing, and the motor stator installed on an outer side of the motor rotor and capable of driving the motor rotor to rotate, and the centering bushing is passed and connected to the inner circumference of the motor rotor and has an end sheathed on the engaging end, so that the motor rotor can drive the first screw rotor to rotate through the centering bushing and the engaging end.
Rotary piston and cylinder device having a dish ringed rotor
A rotary piston and cylinder device (1) comprising a rotor (2), a stator (4), a rotatable shutter (3), the rotor and the stator comprising surface portions which define a chamber, wherein the rotor comprises a first surface portion (2A) and the stator comprises substantially two surface portions (4a; 4b′), and the two surface portions of the stator neighbour each other.
Pump having liquid blades and an associated method of pumping
A pump and method for pumping a gas are disclosed. The pump comprises a rotor and a stator. At least one of the rotor or stator comprises at least one liquid opening configured for fluid communication with a liquid source. The liquid opening is configured such that in response to a driving force exerted on liquid from the liquid source a stream of liquid is output from the opening, the stream of liquid forming a liquid blade between the rotor and the stator, gas confined by said stator, said rotor and said liquid blade being driven through said pump from a gas inlet towards a gas outlet.
SCROLL COMPRESSOR AND PROCESS FOR COMPRESSING A GASEOUS FLUID WITH THE SCROLL COMPRESSOR
A scroll compressor for compressing a gaseous fluid, in particular a refrigerant. The scroll compressor exhibits a non-moving stator with at least one outlet and a moving orbiter, each with a base plate and a spiral-shaped wall that extends from the base plate. The base plates are arranged relative to one another in such a way that the walls interlock with one another and closed working chambers are created. The volumes and the positions of the working chambers are changed in reaction to a rotary movement of the orbiter here.
Scroll compressor
A scroll compressor including a center housing; a front housing fastened to the center housing and forming a suction chamber; a rear housing fastened to the center housing and forming a compression mechanism accommodation space. Fixed scroll is in the compression mechanism accommodation space. An orbiting scroll interposes between the center housing and the fixed scroll forming a compression chamber together with the fixed scroll. Fixed scroll may include a fixed scroll end plate and a fixed scroll side plate protruded from outer circumferential portion of fixed scroll end plate, fastened to the center housing, and forming orbiting space of orbiting scroll. Outer circumferential portion of the center housing may be formed with an inflow hole for communicating with the suction chamber. Distal end surface of the fixed scroll side plate is formed with a suction port for guiding the refrigerant of the inflow hole to the compression chamber.
Electric compressor
An electric compressor includes a housing including a compression part housing, a shaft support housing, and a motor housing fastened by a plurality of fastening members. A peripheral wall has a plurality of thick-walled portions that protrudes inwardly in a radial direction and through which their associated fastening members are inserted. The fixed scroll base plate has a plurality of protruded portions each protruding outwardly in the radial direction and disposed between the thick-walled portions in a circumferential direction. The fixed scroll base plate has a plurality of pillar portions each extending from the protruded portions toward the shaft support housing in the axial direction and spaced from each other in the circumferential direction. The elastic plate is held at a plurality of spots by the plurality of pillar portions and the shaft support housing.
Boundary-Layer Pump and Method of Use
A device for pumping fluid such as paints, sealants, caulks, and polymers made of a rotor assembly and a pump body. The rotor assembly contains at least one laminar flow element arranged in such a manner as to conduct the fluid from inlet to outlet as the rotor spins. The rotor may vary its distance from the pump body. This arrangement provides a rotor with exceptional capacity to pump without damage to the fluid media and to measure the fluid rate at low or high rotational speed with viscosity that can vary. The device also may provide a spray nozzle or nozzles that produce a multiplicity of spray patterns
