11512695 · 2022-11-29 · ·

A pump includes a casing defining an interior volume. The pump casing includes at least one balancing plate that can be part of a wall of the pump casing with each balancing plate including a protruding portion having two recesses. Each recess is configured to accept one end of a fluid driver. The balancing plate aligns the fluid displacement members with respect to each other such that the fluid displacement members can pump the fluid when rotated. The balancing plates can include cooling grooves connecting the respective recesses. The cooling grooves ensure that some of the liquid being transferred in the internal volume is directed to bearings disposed in the recesses as the fluid drivers rotate.

A module for a vacuum pumping and/or abatement system. The module comprises a frame defining a space, a plurality of facilities inputs configured to receive facilities from a facilities supply, a plurality of facilities outputs configured to output the received facilities out of the module, and a plurality of facilities connection lines located at least partially within the space defined by the frame. The plurality of facilities connection lines connect the facilities inputs to the facilities outputs. The module further comprises a controller configured to control supply of facilities received at the facilities inputs out of the facilities outputs; and control operation of one or more vacuum pumping and/or abatement apparatuses remote from the module.

SENSOR ASSEMBLY

A sensor assembly for use in an apparatus comprising at least one moving part and at least one stationary part is provided. The assembly comprises a probe and means for mounting the sensor to a stationary part of the apparatus. The probe comprises a portion of an incomplete circuit which, when completed, produces a signal. In use, when the probe is engaged by a moving part of the apparatus, a signal is produced. A vacuum pump or a compressor pump comprising the sensor and a method for preventing failure of an apparatus are also provided.

SCREW COMPRESSOR WITH ADJUSTABLE PASSAGE

A screw compressor includes an outlet housing. The outlet housing includes a passage that is configured to communicate compressed fluid from a screw rotor to a discharge. A removable cover plate is configured to cover a portion of the passage. A method of varying a volume index for a screw compressor is also disclosed.

ELECTRIC COMPRESSOR

This electric compressor (10) has: an accommodating case (15) that accommodates an inverter device (19) and includes an accommodating section body (31), a substrate support section (32) protruding from a bottom surface (31a) of the accommodating section body (31), and a cover member (34) that closes an opening in the accommodating section body (31); and an antivibration member (17) that is positioned between one surface (51a) of a head part (51) of a bolt (16) fastened to the substrate support section (32) and an inner surface (34a) of the cover member (34), and that is bonded to the one surface (51a) of the head part (51) and the inner surface (34a) of the cover member (34).

SCROLL COMPRESSOR

A scroll compressor comprising: a fixed scroll and a moving scroll, the moving scroll being configured to be capable of orbiting relative to the fixed scroll in order to compress fluid; a main bearing base supporting the moving scroll; and an axial flexible mounting mechanism, the fixed scroll being connected to the main bearing base by means of the axial flexible mounting mechanism, such that the fixed scroll can move a predetermined distance along the axial direction, the axial flexible mounting mechanism comprising a bolt and a sleeve arranged on the outer circumference of the bolt, the sleeve comprising in the axial direction a first section in contact with the main bearing base and a second section in contact with the fixed scroll, and the first section being configured such that the bending rigidity in the radial direction is different to the bending rigidity in the tangential direction.

Compressor Body and Compressor

A compressor body includes a compression mechanism including a screw rotor that compresses gas, a casing that accommodates the compression mechanism and defines a compression working chambers therein, a suction side bearing that rotatably supports the screw rotor, a bearing chamber that accommodates the suction side bearing, and a liquid supply port that communicates with the compression working chambers and supplies liquid supplied from the outside of the casing into the compression working chambers. The casing has an internal liquid supply flow path that extends from a discharge side of the compression working chambers as an upstream side to a suction side of the compression working chambers as a downstream side and that supplies the liquid to the liquid supply port. The internal liquid supply flow path has a downstream portion reaching the bearing chamber and supplies the liquid to the suction side bearing.

Compressor having casing and temperature detector thereon

A compressor includes a compression mechanism, a casing, and a temperature detector. The compression mechanism includes a rotation axis. The casing accommodates the compression mechanism. The casing includes a compression mechanism contact portion. The compression mechanism is in contact with an inner surface of the compression mechanism contact portion. The temperature detector is attached to an outer surface of the compression mechanism contact portion and is configured to sense temperature of the compression mechanism contact portion.

Scroll compressor having intermediate pressure chamber to supply fluid to compression chambers via two supply passages and two injection ports to limit reduction in compression efficiency

The distance between openings of two supply passages that are closest to an accommodating recess is less than the distance between openings of two injection ports that are closest to compression chambers. This configuration minimizes the volume of the space in the accommodating recess between a check valve and the two supply passages, unlike a case in which the distance between the openings of the supply passages that are closest to the accommodating recess is greater than or equal to the distance between the openings of the two injection ports that are closest to the compression chambers. This reduces the flow rate of refrigerant that flows into the accommodating recess from the compression chambers in a compression process through the injection ports and the supply passages.

Portable, rotary vane vacuum pump with a quick oil change system

A portable vacuum pump with a lubricating oil system having a quick oil change system. The oil change system includes at least two containers of oil and a switch mechanism operable to initially place the first container in fluid communication with the vacuum pump to serve as the primary oil reservoir while isolating the second container from such fluid communication. Then in a snap action, the switch mechanism can be flipped to place the second container with clean oil in fluid communication with the vacuum pump to serve as the primary oil reservoir and isolate the first container from fluid communication when its oil becomes dirty, all while the vacuum pump is still operating to evacuate an AC/R system. The first container can then be removed, refilled with clean oil, and returned in place and the switch mechanism flipped back to it when the second container of oil becomes dirty.
