A pneumatic wrench including a pneumatic motor that includes a rotor, a rotor housing, an endplate, and a wear plate. The rotor has an output shaft configured to rotate about an axis and a plurality of vanes that extend radially from the axis that compressed air exerts work against to drive the rotor. The rotor housing has a cavity configured to house the rotor, receive the compressed air, and direct the compressed air about the rotor and out of the rotor housing. The endplate is coupled to the rotor housing and configured to receive the output shaft. The endplate includes a channel that is in fluid communication with the cavity. The wear plate is disposed between the endplate and the rotor housing and defines an exhaust port between the cavity and the channel for directing airflow from the cavity to the channel in an axial direction.

ROTARY COMPRESSOR

A rotary compressor is provided that may include a casing, a cylinder, a main bearing, a sub bearing, a rotational shaft, a roller, and at least one vane. The cylinder may include at least one elastic deformation unit to absorb impact with the at least one vane. With this structure, a collision force caused due to chattering of the at least one vane may be absorbed to suppress or prevent friction loss and/or wear between the cylinder and the vane, thereby enhancing compressor efficiency, reducing vibration noise, and enabling fast initial actuation.

The vane pump includes a housing enclosing the rotor and vanes, the housing including an inner surface defined by a core profile to cause the vanes to extend and retract radially to provide a predetermined vane displacement with rotation of the vanes. The core profile includes an inlet profile portion and an outlet profile portion, wherein the core profile includes a vane radius modifying portion defined between the inlet profile portion and the outlet profile portion such that a radial extension of a vane that is guided along the inner surface will change when transiting the vane radius modifying portion.

On a plane orthogonal to the rotation shaft, an upper muffler chamber has a plurality of flared portions that are flared from a center of a rotation shaft toward between penetrating bolts and a plurality of small-diameter portions that connect between the flared portions, are apart from penetrating bolts, and are formed on a center side of the rotation shaft from the penetrating bolts. A muffler outlet is provided in each flared portion. A second outlet and a refrigerant path hole of an upper end plate are positioned on an inside of one of a plurality of flared portions, and an opening area of the muffler outlet of one flared portion is greater than an opening area of the muffler outlet of each of the other flared portions.

AIR MOTOR WITH INCREASED DWELL AT MAX VANE EXTENSION

A pneumatic motor includes a stator having a stator inner wall including a dwell region and a rotor eccentrically disposed within the stator. The rotor is configured to rotate about the axis of rotation and includes a plurality of vanes disposed around the rotor. Each vane of the plurality of vanes is configured to slide within a respective slot formed in the outer surface of the rotor between a fully retracted position and a fully extended position as the rotor rotates about the axis of rotation to maintain contact with the stator inner wall. The stator inner wall has a radius relative to the axis of rotation that is substantially constant within the dwell region so that vanes of the plurality of vanes are in the fully extended position within the dwell region.

Vane oil pump

A vane fluid pump for a vehicle component is provided with an inner rotor supported within a cam. The inner rotor has an outer wall extending between first and second end faces, the outer wall defining a series of slots spaced apart about the outer wall to provide a series of outer wall sections. One of the wall sections defines a groove. Another of the wall sections is independent of grooves or is ungrooved. The pump has vanes positioned within respective slots of the inner rotor and extending outwardly to contact the continuous inner wall of the cam. The groove on the inner rotor is configured fluidly couple with a notch on the housing to provide fluid flow to the discharge port from an upstream pumping chamber to disrupt harmonics during operation to reduce pressure ripples and associated tonal noise.

Vane oil pump

A vane fluid pump for a vehicle component has a cam defining a continuous inner wall surrounding a cavity, and an inner rotor supported within the cam. The inner rotor has a cylindrical outer wall defining a series of slots equally spaced about the outer wall. A series of vanes is provided with each vane positioned within a respective slot of the inner rotor and extending outwardly to contact the continuous inner wall of the cam. Each vane provides a fluid barrier between adjacent pumping chambers formed between the cam and the inner rotor. A first vane of the series of vanes defines a passageway thereacross to fluidly connect adjacent pumping chambers. The passageway is configured to disrupt harmonics during operation to reduce pressure ripples and associated tonal noise. At least another vane is configured without any fluid passageways.

A rotary compressor provided that may include a casing, a cylinder, a roller, and at least one vane slidably inserted into the roller, and the roller may have at least one bypass passage through which spaces on both sides of a contact point based on a rotational direction of the roller communicate with each other. Through the at least one bypass passage, residual refrigerant remaining in a compression space even after a discharge stroke may be bypassed to a suction chamber, thereby minimizing the refrigerant remaining in the compression space after the discharge stroke. Also, loss due to overcompression in a residual space may be suppressed or prevented while reducing suction loss due to the introduction of overcompressed high-pressure refrigerant by the bypassing the refrigerant in the residual space toward a suction side in advance.
