The invention relates to a pump assembly, especially of a mechanical seal assembly, for supplying a fluid, especially to a mechanical seal (2a, 2b), comprising exactly one drive (11) comprising a drive shaft (24), a first axial pump (21), which conveys the fluid in the axial direction (X-X) of the drive shaft, a second axial pump (22), which conveys the fluid in the axial direction of the drive shaft, and a radial pump (23), which conveys the fluid in the radial direction (R) of the drive shaft, wherein the first axial pump (21) and the second axial pump (22) are arranged in front of the radial pump (23) in the flow-through direction (B) of the fluid across the pump assembly, and wherein the drive (11) simultaneously drives the first axial pump (21), the second axial pump (22) and the radial pump (23).

A hybrid-driven dual pump for conveying a coolant for a combustion engine, is proposed. The dual pump comprises: a first pump assembly with a first pump impeller, a first spiral housing and a first pump shaft driven via a mechanical drive connection by a combustion engine; a second pump assembly with a second pump impeller, a second spiral housing, a second pump shaft and an electric drive; a joint pump housing enclosing the first pump assembly and the second pump assembly with a joint pump inlet and a joint pump outlet; and a flap arranged freely pivotably between an outlet of the first spiral housing and an outlet of the second spiral housing such that a direct flow connection between the first spiral housing and the second spiral housing is blocked.

A pump having two impellers driven by a common drive shaft where the impellers have suction inlets facing each other and are configured to axially receive fluid from a common chamber. A direct line path exists between suction inlets of the respective impellers. A mechanical seal having a two-piece housing is positioned with a first cup component of the housing fastened at an inboard side of an outboard head of the pump.

A circulation pump assembly includes a first inlet (84), an outlet (80), an electric drive motor (30) and at least one impeller (68; 100) driven by the drive motor (30). The circulation pump assembly has at least one first flow path (26; 48) positioned in a connection between the first inlet (84) and the outlet (80) for increasing the pressure of a fluid. The circulation pump assembly has a second inlet (86). The at least one impeller (68; 100) has at least one second flow path (28; 50) for increasing the pressure of a fluid, which is positioned in a connection of the second inlet (86) to the outlet (80). A process fluid lubricated pump includes a pump having a pump shaft extending from a drive end to a non-drive end to rotate about an axial direction, a first pump section having a first set of impellers fixedly mounted on the pump shaft to increase the pressure of the process fluid, a drive to exert a torque on the drive end of the pump shaft to drive the rotation of the pump shaft, a first balance drum fixedly connected to the pump shaft between the pump and the drive end of the pump shaft, the first balance drum defining a first front side facing the pump and a first back side, and a second balance drum fixedly connected to the pump shaft between the pump and the non-drive end of the pump shaft, the second balance drum defining a second front side facing the pump and a second back side.

A pump system includes a centrifugal pump having an impeller, a first inlet arranged to receive a first flow of liquid, a second inlet arranged to receive a flow of gas at a first pressure, the gas being soluble in the liquid, and an outlet arranged to discharge a second flow of liquid that contains the flow of gas solubilized therein. An injection pump has an inlet arranged to receive the second flow of liquid. The injection pump is operable to increase the pressure of the second flow of liquid to produce a high-pressure flow of liquid, and includes a discharge arranged to discharge the high-pressure flow of liquid.

The invention relates to centrifugal pumps and can be used for pumping oil and other fluids along pipelines. A pump comprises a set of strength elements in the form of reinforcing ribs connecting a pump housing to the surfaces of supporting feet of the pump. The fastening surfaces of the feet are situated along the central axis of the inlet and outlet lines. The feet are connected by the reinforcing ribs to the inlet and outlet lines and to bearing assembly housings and connect the housings to one another. The feet themselves are connected to each other in pairs by ribs which pass below the base of the pump housing. The base and the cover of the housing are configured with interior chambers which form an inlet and an outlet. All of the ribs are integral with the cover or the base. The invention is directed toward increasing the reliability and working life of the pump by reducing vibration loads and increasing leak tightness while at the same time minimizing the material requirements of the pump structure.

A centrifugal pump that is used for conveying water and other fluids. The pump is constructed such that the movement of water is provided without undue pressures being needed.

A flow machine includes a rotor rotatably arranged about an axis of rotation in a rotor space of a housing. For energy exchange between a flow energy of a flowing fluid and a mechanical rotational energy, the fluid can be supplied to the housing of the flow machine in so as to bring the fluid into flowing contact with the rotor for the energy exchange and can be led out of the housing of the flow machine. A flow guiding element running about the axis of rotation in a peripheral direction of the rotor is disposed in the rotor space between an inner wall of the rotor space and the rotor in such a way that the rotor is surrounded by the flow guiding element over a predeterminable axial width.

A turbopump is formed from a metal additive manufacturing process in which both the housing and the impeller are formed as a single piece with the impeller trapped within the single piece housing. The impeller is formed with an axial bore and a shaft is secured by a tie bolt on one end to secure forward and aft bearings within the housing after the impeller and housing have been formed.
